In the very old days a a groin injury was often an euphemism for veneral disease. I wonder what a modern euphemism for foot injury could be?

I'm 65, been following the demons since 1958 when I walked to my grandmother's house in North Sunshine and watched the last quarter of a team getting flogged and sympathized with them. Of course, it was the 1958 Grand Final. I have a 17 year old daughter who said to me recently that I always barrack for losers!

I must say, my sympathy capacity has just about worn out and I've lost my re charger. That's precisely why I remain angry that Clark and Frawley walked out on the demons and it's precisely why when they get injured a small part of me rejoices.

I wouldn't suppose your daughter also barracks for the dees?

I am also 17 and looking for someone to share my passion for Jesse Hogan with

Wow.

Yes he left us in the lurch but to celebrate an injury ?

Poor taste and reflective of some miserable lives being endured by some Demonlanders

It's just a constant need for attention and nurturing with Clark. Good riddance he isn't our problem.

Lumumba has been super for this club. He is no fuss and just gets it done.

How's the daughter going living in her own flat?

They should've offloaded Steve Johnson to GWS when they had the chance.

Would've freed up money for them to chase Dangerfield as a FA. Missed opportunity by the Cats.

According to the AFL website he's only going to miss a week.

Seems like a few here suffer from premature celebration

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
