Mitch clark sprinting flat out in a cats jumper makes me sick

He's done nothing so far... I'm actually starting to feel quite worried about our chances in the opening round... the Suns are looking very slick indeed.

Very fit and strong above the head. Loads of pressure and numbers around the ball.

Will be a tough game, GC are only getting better.

Yes. It looks like Rocket Eade has really put a strong emphasis on their contested game. They look much stronger and more ferocious at the ball and man.

They look very good this early in the pre-season.

Round 1 is looking tough.

How is Clark going? I see he has 4 disposal up to half time now.

He's putting in but looking slow. Could have passed on an easy hand ball or two but chose to snap and miss completely. Not a big deal really.

Skills all-round aren't great and the supply isn't fantastic either so limited opportunities for him.

He's working hard and it's sad to see him playing for them. He'll be a bloody good pickup for them if he stays fit. He looks it.

Meh. I dont believe it was his choice to leave us. We were lucky we got decent compensation.

Clark, if fit, is the best full forward in the comp IMO - he is simply an absolute gun. He rag dolls opposition defences - hopefully not ours though later this year.

I also cannot believe how well Brisbane has rebuilt its list - they looked to be an absolute basket case not that long ago, and now have an awesome midfield.

Hats off to them.

    Demonland Trackwatcher Gator ventured down the freeway to bring you his observations from Friday morning's Match Simulation out at Casey Fields. Rehab: Jake Lever and Charlie Spargo running laps.  Lever was running short distances at a fast click as well as having kick to kick with a trainer. He seems unimpeded.     Whichever way you look at it, the Melbourne Football Club’s 2024 season can only be characterized as the year of its fall from grace. Whispering Jack looks back at the season from hell that was.
