As I see it -

Out: James Frawley, Shannon Byrnes, Mitch Clark, Mitch Clisby, Daniel Nicholson = 5 list spots.

In: Pick 42 (Billy Stretch), Jeff Garlett (Pick 61), Heritier Lumumba + 2 list spots. We could still trade for Sam Frost

Uncontracted to be delisted if not traded: Sam Blease, James Strauss, Luke Tapscott = 5 list spots

To come in: Pick 2, Pick 3, Pick 23, , Neville Jetta upgrade, PSD (Sam Frost) = List complete.

Couldn't JT go on LTI list with Jetta taking spot leaving another pick? 2,3,23 & 60

There is no LTI in the off season. The Primary List has 38/40 spots and the rookie list 4/6 spots.

We have 40 PL and 4 RL.

Trengove either has to be on the PL or delisted for the next lodgement.

And we traded 60 to Carlton. Our 4th pick is ND83.

Trades galore but are there more in store?

Tom Boyd is officially a Western Bulldogs player. Traded to the club from GWS on a mammoth seven-year deal.

Ryan Griffen is officially a GWS Giants player. Traded to the GWS Giants along with pick 6, in exchange for Tom Boyd.

Dayne Beams is officially a Brisbane Lions player. Traded to the Lions from Collingwood. The Lions gave up picks 5, 25 and midfielder Jack Crisp. In return they received Beams and pick 67.

Levi Greenwood is officially a Collingwood player. Traded to the Pies in exchange for pick 25 which goes back to Collingwood.

Heritier Lumumba is officially traded from Collingwood to Melbourne as part of a three-way deal.

Mitch Clark is officially traded from Melbourne to Geelong as part of a three-way deal.

Travis Varcoe is officially traded from Geelong to Collingwood as part of a three-way deal.

Rhys Stanley is officially a Geelong player, traded from St Kilda to the Cats along with pick 60 in exchange for pick 21 from the Cats.

NAB Trade Radio News reports that it's Deadline Day at Etihad Stadium.

Will Ryder get to Port Adelaide? Or will the GWS come late with an offer to the Bombers with their vast array of draft picks?

The Saints say pick 1 is still on the table, while the Hawks are sweating on several of their youngsters potentially moving clubs.

WJ - I'm totally traded out and off north to get away from it all. With my luck, Garry Junior will be on my flight. I'll convince him to play for Melbourne and the flight will land after the 2pm deadline.

"Never say Never" - @melbournefc Josh Mahoney on whether picks 2 & 3 could be traded today #NABTradeRadio

Interesting that Denham dropped Sinclair from WC as a possible to be traded. I would be surprised if we aren't looking seriously at him given we need to shore up our ruck/forward stocks.

I wouldn't get to excited about Mahoney's comments, it's only logical and more likely that St Kilda will trade down.

Cooney apparently passed the Essendon and North medicals with flying colours.

I'd prefer him on our list next year over Trengove, Evans, McKenzie, Jamar and Spencer.

And Terlich, Matt Jones, Bail, Fitzpatrick, Howe, Barry, Riley, Watts etc etc etc

Wallace just rated us a C, nearly the worst of the clubs for our trade period, but said 3 is a huge win, but that wasn't trading.

The idiot Barrett then repeated that we only got that, because of our asking for the PP and toatally ignored the rule, under which it was the only possible pick we could have received.

And what did West Coast and Freo get? They did absolutely nothing

HEAVEN OR HELL by The Oracle

Clashes between Melbourne and St Kilda are often described as battles between the forces of heaven and hell. However, based on recent performances, it’s hard to get excited about the forthcoming match between these two sides. It would be fair to say that, at the moment, both of these teams are in the doldrums. The Demons have become the competition’s slow starters while the Saints are not only slow to begin, they’re not doing much of a job finishing off their games either. About the only th

    THE BLOW by Whispering Jack

Narrm’s finals prospects took a crushing blow after the team’s insipid performance at Optus Stadium against a confident Waaljit Marawar in the first of its Doug Nicholls Round outings for 2024.  I use the description “crushing blow” advisedly because, although the season is not yet at it’s halfway mark, the Demons have now failed abysmally in two of their games against teams currently occupying bottom eight places on the ladder.  The manner in which these losing games were played out w

HALF FULL by KC from Casey

It was a case of the Casey Demons going into a game with a glass half full in their match up against the Brisbane Lions at Casey Fields on Saturday. As the list of injured and unavailable AFL and VFL listed players continues to grow and with Melbourne taking all three emergencies to Perth for the weekend on a “just in case” basis, its little brother was always destined to struggle. Casey was left with only eight AFL listed players from who to select their team but only two - an out-of-form

GAMEDAY: Rd 10 vs West Coast

It's Game Day and the Demons have returned to the site of their drought breaking Premiership to take on the West Coast Eagles in what could very well be a danger game for Narrm at Optus Stadium. A win and a percentage boost will keep the Dees in top four contention whilst a loss will cast doubt on the Dees flag credentials and bring them back to the pack fighting for a spot in the 8 as we fast approach the halfway point of the season.

    WARNING by William from Waalitj

As a long term resident of Waalitj Marawar, I am moved to warn my fellow Narrm fans that a  danger game awaits. The locals are no longer the easybeats who stumbled, fumbled and bumbled their way to the good fortune of gathering the number one draft pick and a generational player in Harley Reid last year. They are definitely better than they were then.   Young Harley has already proven his worth with some stellar performances for a first year kid playing among men. He’s taken hangers, k
