"Tex" Walker

Any interest in Shaun McKernan? Delisted today and I seem to remember he showed a fair bit a couple of years ago up forward?

Reckon Tex would get very bored and cold in our forward line. Mids please, starting with Sloan and/or Dangermouse.

You're right about mids Loonie but "Tex" is something of a character, plus he can take a mark and kick a goal.

He would give us a chance of converting our forward entries.

Runour file...seen having coffee with Bernie and Dawesy...

Lmao you got it off that facbook page that is run by a 15 year melbourne who does nothing but stir trouble and make up silly rumours to get a reaction out of people.

Nothing but garbage.

Interesting that rumours arise for players whose contracts expire in 2015. If they become FA or RFA I suspect Roos prediction is coming to pass, "Better to control the trade of a FA before the contract expires rather than wait till it expires and they walk".

Many here believe that if we thought Frawley was gone a year ago that we should have traded him rather than cop the year of speculation.

To date it is very rare for the player to stay on, once an offer is made for the existing club to match. Sloan, Tex and Danger all out of contract at the same time will be a huge balancing act for the Adelaide CEO.

Well Bernie and Dawesy are in Bali with Watts and Trengove. So unless he's in Bali with them, that's more bs.

(Friend of mine saw the four together in bali yesterday)

I think you are right, although in our case we may be better off ending up with pick 3 for frawley if it eventuates rather than trading him last year.

    TROUBLE by The Oracle

Situated roughly in Australia's geographic centre, Alice Springs has for many years been a troubled town suffering from intermittent crime waves, particularly among its younger residents. There was a time a little while ago when things were so bad that some even doubted the annual AFL game in the town would proceed.  Now, the hope is that this Sunday’s Melbourne vs Fremantle encounter will bring joy to the residents of the town and that through the sport and the example of the participants,

    GALLANT by KC from Casey

The world “gallant” is not one that is readily acceptable to losing teams in our game of football so when it was used in the context of the Casey Demons’ loss to Sandringham in yesterday’s match at Casey Fields, it left a bitter taste in the mouth.  The Demons went into the game against the St Kilda affiliated Zebras with the advantage of playing on their home turf (not that this has been a major asset in 2024) and with very little else going in their favour. The Saints have close to a full

    MEANWHILE by Whispering Jack

… meanwhile, at about the same time that Narrm was putting its feet on the accelerator to obliterate the long-suffering Euro-Yroke combination, I heard someone mention in passing that Kuwarna was leading Waalitj Marawar by a whopping 46 to 1 halfway through the second quarter of their game over in Adelaide. “What is football coming to?” I asked myself.  In front of my eyes, the Demons were smashing it through the midfield, forcing turnovers and getting the footy to their forwards who w
