Relax. We've got this.

However, I reserve the right to issue a retraction at half time.

is there such thing as prior opportunity anymore?

The AFL needs to address the holding the ball rule ASAP - they give the ones they shouldn't and don't give the ones they should

Should be an even game - doggies have just had some lucky goals and made use of our turnovers

Pathetic quarter. I am so sick of giving the opposition goals because our players can't kick. If you can't dispose of the footy, do not play. End of story.

Dumb footballers with no skills are killing us.

Good job by Paul Roos to bring in Terlich and Nicholson to a team that already has atrocious skills

Terrible selection this week

Oh god... here we go again!! Why don't you do the sensible thing and throw away whatever device it is you are posting from.

That has to be one of the worst quarters of football I have seen in a long time.

Stinks of last season.

Just an absolute disgrace, woeful skills, worse decision making and no confidence.

Any chance a player can make a good decision? When we have a good run we slow it down and when we have our set ups in place we rush it? The whole team should under go a concussion test at quarter time

People on here need to harden up. What did you think was going to happen this year? Roos to show up and we just become a good side overnight. We are going to have ups and downs.

what a woeful performance from the MFC that quarter. poor decision making, and even worse execution. they all need a huge blast from Roos at quarter time for that pathetic performance. The womens team played better than these guys.

Reckon Bernie is injured, Terlich playing forward says heaps... Very little depth. They're playing an extra one back who's just sweating on Dawes bringing the ball to ground. Hopeless around the clearances

I already told you this could go either way... seems you have little insight into the game?

Great qtr by Grimesy. Very busy.

i can't believe the lack of skill and the laziness on offer in that quarter. No Cross no demons by the look of it.

Fkn atrocious. How many goals for the Dogs were from turnovers? How many opportunities, including set shots, did we squander? We'll struggle to beat another team this year if we can't even beat this rabble.

Putrid umpiring

Really?

Out of the whole quarter, you think the umpires are our problem...

Can't kick, choose poor options, forward leading to the same spots. Matt jones running over to where Garland was alone and bringing a opponent.

The umpires are the least of our worries.

2024 Player Reviews: #36 Kysaiah Pickett

The Demons’ aggressive small forward who kicks goals and defends the Demons’ ball in the forward arc. When he’s on song, he’s unstoppable but he did blot his copybook with a three week suspension in the final round. Jefferson and Kentfield looked big and strong.  Petty was doing all the training. Adams looked like he was in rehab.  KE

2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May

The years are rolling by but May continued to be rock solid in a key defensive position despite some injury concerns. He showed great resilience in coming back from a nasty rib injury and is expected to continue in that role for another couple of seasons. It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield.
