Is Howe injured/sore? He looks sluggish.

Probably had enough of being a one man forward line, can you blame him?

He is probably on peanuts, expected to hold up the forward line - whilst our cash cows sit in the stand.

If Howe has lost his passion to play, I can't blame him.

Did one of our players just shirk it???

I think it was Georgiou.

If you play off your man and are not willing to effing run both ways kindly take your jumper off on your way out. Lazy and slow in mind and body...

Melbourne fans. Blowing things out of proportion since 1858.

Roos looks like he wants to go home

As alluded to much earlier ....someones going to come back to earth with a real thud today

Those who say Nic Nat is overrated make me laugh.

Not really. He averages 12 touches a game. He just got 10 for the quarter, so that's his usual output but spread over a whole game :P He is definitely over-rated.

Ease up it's round 2. If you have a problem with injuries say so. Don't assume that a player has spat the dummy already.

WTF is going on?

Oh Melbourne, we really can't carry on like this anymore. How can we possibly survive when we aren't even competitive!

Dejavu! Dropping marks, kicking backwards, atrocious hand balling and no passion. No one to stand up.

Posted

West Coast aren't even taking us seriously, wouldn't matter if Clark, Dawes and Hogan were playing

Posted

As bad a first quarter as we have played in a decade. Slow, no chasing, poor skill, blah blah blah. Training run for WC.

We look every bit as terrible as the last couple of seasons.

Nautanui is going to have a field day

I am not saying Howe has spat the dummy.

All I am saying is that I cannot blame him if he has spat the dummy.

Not one player looks interested..

Spencer is a disgrace and Trengove needs to take a look at his effort or head to the twos.

Terlich is having a go along with Michie. Cant say much for the rest.

Why are we still bombing it to inside 50.....are these guys educated???? They need to be precise kicks not bombs FFS!

6.5 to one FKN point!!!

Relax, our 2nd quarters are generally our worst.

It was clear as day we needed a priority pick at the end of last year.

Tanking saga really hurt us, it basically cost us a PP.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
