"It was only 2 days after his press conference at Luna Park. I wasn't rude or silly enough to directly ask him if he's going to stay, but I can contribute that he and the players are excited about the coming year"

I asked directly, and what your gut is telling you is correct, as I put before, if he sees the light at the end of the tunnel and it's not the train, he will sign

I get a lot of players talking to me because I am direct

You're direct then, are you?

You're direct then, are you?

You can tell by my posts not a fan or rumour, innuendo, bulldust...if you want an answer.... ask....of course everybody can be lied to, just hope I can pick it up

Ony time I am not is on here when I feel like a bit of entertainment

The players know when they speak to me, I am actually interested in what they have to say but if they ask an opinion they get a straight answer, not interested in fawing on them

...as an aside my daughter says I don't do tact or empathy well though...probably part of being direct

I have a degenerate knee also.

I have to manage a body that is nearly completely degenerate for the rest of my life.

How does the mind stack up?

Supporting MFC for any length of time generally brings on a level of insanity in all of us.

If that is true, he is a pathetic little man. Anyone who gets their kicks out of stirring up die-hard fans of a bottom club is a sad troll.

I hope he reads that and reflects on his character.

sue we already know he is a pathetic little man

we are just debating whether he is a "really really pathetic little man" or a "really really really pathetic little man"

Still no confirmation from the club on the extent of the injury?

Lets hope this injury isn't like the back injury which kept Evans or Taggart out for a year.

So based on the article the club has no idea how long it will take for hogan to recover.

Could be 2-3wks or longer. Nice each way bet there!!

Next they will put him on the LTI list.

U would think that one out of the three forwards could bloody start the season.

We better get used to a forward line of Howe, Pedo and Fitzy.

I'd say at least 4 weeks off the track and out of the gym, lots of time in the pool. After that it would probably take 3 or 4 weeks for him to be fit to play.

It's 2 week until round 1. If we can have him back safely and healthy by round 6 it will be a great result.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
