When McKenzie is getting a gig on the Demonland banner, then maybe its time to just scrap the thing altogether?

I would like to think if our draft/trade period goes alright he will/should struggle to get a game.

Just noticed it on my lunch break.

Love it.

Interesting the inclusion of Jordie, does this mean perhaps he may become that solid tagging player we are after?

Last few games with us were quite impressive, virtually shut players down and racked up some good numbers himself.

Still only 23 and has showed some signs he may become a tagger in the Ling mold.

Trying to work out if that is Roos behind the silhouette or not... :)

He is looking solid isn't he - must be the offseason (they are already ripping it up at the gym)

Can we replace McKenzie with Hogan? (he is basically on our list now)

My guess is its either Jesse Hogan, Taylor Adams, James Aish or Zac Jones. If not, then it's got to be Biff.

could be biff

hes getting new teeth,so that accounts for the blackout

Who's gunna be in the middle!!!!!!

Should be Neil Craig until Friday when the press conference is called. After that, it's #roosyourdaddy time.

Are you suggesting we put one of the worst performed and lazier players of the second half of 2013 on the banner? I'd much rather have McKenzie who stands for exactly what we need under Roos - hard and tough work. McKenzie completely shut down Ablett and Griffen in the second half of this season after he returned from injury. Howe on the other hand was barely even taking hangas until the weekend that's how (excuse the pun) far off good form he was.

I am far from a McKenzie fan

But you are spot on tm

Howe was a big disappointment for most of 2013.

Not that he has that honour on his own.

Fair enough, Howe's output was down throughout the second half of the season but, as badly-performing and lazy as he has been accused of being, he was the club's Leading Goalkicker with 28. Brad Miller was lauded as having "a breakout year" with 26 some of you might recall. Howe, despite his disinterest, was 7th in 1%ers, 7th for I 50s and 6th for Contested Possessions. It should be conceded that he did spend a lot of time where the ball wasn't.

Blood' hard workers will rate higher with Roos, than a flash in the pan types..

Jordie McKenzie will be on his hit list I'm sure... & Jordie will bounce back.

Chris Dawes should be in there

Already the most respected leader at the club and a Premiership player with runs on the board

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
