Bombers scandal: charged, <redacted> and <infracted>

As a matter of fairness, the AFL should be investigating supplement use at Essendon for a period in excess of the next 7 months. Let them play the season with a cloud hanging over them; just as the AFL has done to the MFC.

Let it drag on for a year or two. let them suffer in their jocks.Someone throwns in the EFC every once in awhile to keep them on their toes.

Paul Gardner should move on.

He had five years to get the club paying its debts.

Does he have a job now?

Sad has been.

Am I completely paranoid ( it will destroy you) or has there been a more vocal ex-president talking about his ex-club than bell end?

I'm sure a friend of his will let us know the truth..

I think the guy likes to big note himself, clearly doesn't care too much for the club if he's so willing to throw us onto this fire.

Lloyd is shocking replacement for Thomas, he'll I'd even take Acker over him, at least you'd get an honest answer.

Lloyd looks like he thinks he's being smart and evasive by trying to being even handed.

The sidelong glances he keeps giving the camera say otherwise.

He knows something... or he's worried the cameraman is going to grab the gear and run.

yeah, makes we want to cry

i'm enjoying essendopes discomfort after so many years of personally putting up with their arrogant put-downs, regardless of their innocence or otherwise

yeah im hearin ya , but im not crying or laughing at first i did , laugh , but now , i just wish it would go away , i mean i hate the bummers , but be a real tragedy if they were grounded , , i have mates who like the bummers they never jammed it up me re tank crap , and in a way i feel some sicko sympathy for them , , the players must be gutted , , looks like there drinks have been spiked , , plus its one less win this season , , chill dude

Really? After the performances we've been dished up.... How could anybody think we had anything close to performance enhancing drugs? Surely this is the work of wilson....

Suppose I should be use-to MFC getting connected to these things by now.....

I watched it for the first time and they spent most of the time trying to be nice about it and all Wilson could come out with was the CEO has to go, sound familiar?

It was a bit of nothing really and they were being so nice Lloyd's face went from ashen to slightly "boy maybe we've dodged a bullet".

Guess what Lloydy, they don't make the decision. They played the Reimers interview, he's a couple of rocks short of an avalanche, and he said they were asked to sign forms to allow the supplements to be used and they were for recovery and muscle growth. He signed but never used the drugs, then went in to say they didn't work unless you were on them for a few weeks; not sure how he knew that.

Waste of time and I'm surprised Wilson didn't take the opportunity to implicate Melbourne.

***BREAKING NEWS***

"Shane Warne has come on the record and has expressed that he too was given questionable substances from the Essendon Football Club and would like to clear his mother/sandwiches.

His ex-wife also highlighted that the diaretric tablet obviously didnt work, he still looks ugly and no amount plastic surgery will change this..."

Brave, brave man. Our thoughts go out to him.

Just saw a tweet made by former Demonologist (and perhaps very occasional Demonlander) Graham Gaunt:

"Paul Gardner just got on @2GB873 and mentioned that@melbournefc and another club north of Sydney are rumoured on the issue. #sourgrapes ?"

Anyone else hear this?

gardner is only proving to everyone exactly why he was unsuitable to be a president of a football club

what a creep

Ahhhh FC manage to get the tanking issue in

Missed that I had turned it of, what a waste of time that show is, now I know why I've never watched it before.

The AFL will go all out now just to prove how tough and macho they are, "we don't put up with any thing", Dimwitriou has got his serious face on now so they'll go after us I reckon.

I'm still trying to work out what he said, struggles to put a sentence together does young Lloyd.

    DELUGE by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons overcame their inaccuracy and the wet inhospitable conditions to overrun the lowly Northern Bullants at Genis Steel Oval in Cramer Street, Preston on Saturday. It was an eerie feeling entering the ground that in the past hosted many VFA/VFL greats of the past including the legendary Roy Cazaly. The cold and drizzly rain and the sparse crowd were enough to make one want to escape to the nearby Preston Market and hang out there for the afternoon. In the event, the fans

    INSANITY by Whispering Jack

Somehow, the Melbourne Football Club managed it twice in the course of a week. Coach Simon Goodwin admitted it in his press conference after the loss against the Brisbane Lions in a game where his team held a four goal lead in the third term:   "In reality we went a bit safe. Big occasion, a lot of young players playing. We probably just went into our shell a bit. "There's a bit to unpack in that last quarter … whether we go into our shells a bit late in the game."   Well

    UNBACKABLE by The Oracle

They’re billing the Brisbane Lions as a sleeping giant — the best team outside the top eight —and based on their form this month they’re a definite contender for September AFL action. Which is not exactly the best of news if you happen to be Melbourne, the visiting team this week up at the Gabba.  Even though they are placed ahead of their opponent on the AFL table, and they managed to stave off defeat in their last round victory over North Melbourne, this week’s visitors to the Sunshi

    WILDCARDS by KC from Casey

Casey’s season continued to drift into helplessness on Sunday when they lost another home game by a narrow margin, this time six points, in their Round 13 clash with North Melbourne’s VFL combination. The game was in stunning contrast to their last meeting at the same venue when Casey won the VFL Wildcard Match by 101 points. Back then, their standout players were Brodie Grundy and James Jordon who are starring in the AFL with ladder leaders, the Sydney Swans (it turned out to be their last
