How many weeks will sylvia get?

Put in AT TIMES today. Completely over him. Could not care less if he ever plays in the red and blue again.

If true justice were to be meted out, however, there would be 'insufficient footage to place a charge'.

Tha AFL definition of "off the ball" seems to vary considerably, and his victim was up and walking a few minutes later, so I'm not sure about high impact - fair enough with the rest.

Mis-placed aggression and frustration. You can sort of understand it, but geez it'll cost us.

High impact? why cause Brennan is soft? He ended up on the bench and fine and I don't think he was really knocked out more just very sore

Off the ball? No it was in play to stop the run. That's why he was using his arms as a blocking motion. Just didn't expect Brennan to try and duck under him.

High contact, yes.

Intentional? No. People don't hit people with strange two handed elbows to the side of the head. If he wanted to hit him he would've punched him. Reckless

Dog act? Not really. When did this go so far from a mans game. Was it clean? No. Should be hung and quartered? No way!

At the end of the day it was very silly. It reminds me a lot of the Kosi hit on Elliot. No way did Kosi mean to smash him. But everyone left right and centre was having a go at Kosi.

2-3 weeks is plenty. Think about Barry Hall getting 7 for punching a guy clean off the ball if you think this deserves 6. Also it certainly wasn't an action to line up and drill a guy to knock them out or attempt to break their necks.

Don't care how many

Sylvia is all about potential and its unfortunate he has never got past that level since he was recruited

Also proves why he is not leadership material

Having just seen the replay I would say 4-6.

Off the ball.

High impact.

High contact.

Intentional.

Dog act.

Easily the dirtiest act of the year (go to Huns website, footage there). Will be surprised if he gets away with less than 4.

Sometimes doing nothing is more efficient than the something Sylvia does. If Sylvia won the ball and ran like Matt Jones or Evans he'd be twice the player.

In some ways he's trying. But he's still miles off his potential.

Frustration written all over that.... I can understand.

He is playing with a lot more accountability and conviction this season.

To those who think we should get rid of him, who do you think we'd recruit to replace him? This is the same issue as we've seen. Rivers effectively "traded" for Gillies, Moloney for no other inside Mid.

That hit sylvia put on brennan looked like a player who was frustrated and didnt want to be there.

I reckon he is looking at 2-3

yeah 2-3, pity because he's been pretty good the last month or so.

    THE BLOW by Whispering Jack

Narrm’s finals prospects took a crushing blow after the team’s insipid performance at Optus Stadium against a confident Waaljit Marawar in the first of its Doug Nicholls Round outings for 2024.  I use the description “crushing blow” advisedly because, although the season is not yet at it’s halfway mark, the Demons have now failed abysmally in two of their games against teams currently occupying bottom eight places on the ladder.  The manner in which these losing games were played out w

HALF FULL by KC from Casey

It was a case of the Casey Demons going into a game with a glass half full in their match up against the Brisbane Lions at Casey Fields on Saturday. As the list of injured and unavailable AFL and VFL listed players continues to grow and with Melbourne taking all three emergencies to Perth for the weekend on a “just in case” basis, its little brother was always destined to struggle. Casey was left with only eight AFL listed players from who to select their team but only two - an out-of-form

GAMEDAY: Rd 10 vs West Coast

It's Game Day and the Demons have returned to the site of their drought breaking Premiership to take on the West Coast Eagles in what could very well be a danger game for Narrm at Optus Stadium. A win and a percentage boost will keep the Dees in top four contention whilst a loss will cast doubt on the Dees flag credentials and bring them back to the pack fighting for a spot in the 8 as we fast approach the halfway point of the season.

    WARNING by William from Waalitj

As a long term resident of Waalitj Marawar, I am moved to warn my fellow Narrm fans that a  danger game awaits. The locals are no longer the easybeats who stumbled, fumbled and bumbled their way to the good fortune of gathering the number one draft pick and a generational player in Harley Reid last year. They are definitely better than they were then.   Young Harley has already proven his worth with some stellar performances for a first year kid playing among men. He’s taken hangers, k

OVER YET? by KC from Casey

The Friday evening rush hour clash of two of the VFL’s 2024 minnows, Carlton and the Casey Demons was excruciatingly painful to watch, even if it was for the most part a close encounter. I suppose that since the game had to produce a result (a tie would have done the game some justice), the four points that went to Casey with the win, were fully justified because they went to the best team. In that respect, my opinion is based on the fact that the Blues were a lopsided combination that had
