  1. So the off season was spent doing what ? Thought a skill like Kicking would be helpful
  2. Her look at me moment cost more than her prude Hope she lrans therwise her nickname will become T Bugg
  3. Dogs deseved to make Gbut will get beat on current form Conti didnt have an oponent and she nade us pay The moment i knew the game was lost was when near the end we had 1 v 2 an instead of kickimg the ball off the ground we bend down to pick up the ball and naturally got tackled with the winnining goal shortly after Like the guys a digraceful effort against Collingwood sunk our season
  4. Won as a Team with no major injuries and we may have found another forward
  5. Who really knows as his resume looks decent enough I do worry that skills and development dont appear to improve and after looking at the descision making and execuyon errors under NO PRESSURE in this game I am more concerned about our recruiting to spot the differnce in gifted athletes who can develop football smarts
  6. Never seen them play worse Clangers kiiled us 2 weeks in a row and Lions next week will put out any hope of a grand final appearance Coach needs to concentrare on doing the basics right Someine should tell them there was oposition in black aqnd white jumpers the same ones you kicked it too all day

  8. Erin Phillips is the best AFLW player I have seen so far Paxman is one level down like alot of the other teams best players Daisy is all class on and off the feild We certainly have the best midfeild in AFLW though Lyon isnt a great judge (bailey/neeld) and I am so glad he has nosay in recruiting as we would have a team of Toumpass instead of Wines
  9. Only time will tell if they are big winners No dout they have been very active On Paper IMO they have improved their list on a needs basis Be interesting to see if Hinkley can get out of Watts what we couldnt Still be handy player near goals which cost them in 2017
  10. Well i never thought i would see the day when someone called Weideman was playing for Melbourne Looks classy and polished Could be the one to watch
  11. One of the few young kids from the opposition i was looking forward to seeing play really hard luck so far
  12. Tassie was one of my favourites and its a sad day for the club and supporters What a shame they haven't recognised him as an VFL /AFL HOF member before his passing as there is no doubt in my mind its another oversight just like Gary Hardeman I do think that the only player that kept Hudson Goaless was Harvey Merrigan from Fitzroy I compare Tassies drop kick to be just as good as Paul Vinar from Geelong who they claim was the best On Fineys show (SEN1116) i do recall quite a few full forwards saying Tassie Johnson was one of their toughest opponents
  13. I am really stumped as to who i prefer now that we have pick 3 Weitering is the standout and its likely he wont fall to 3 but its who i would select if he does Just hope we get it right Pick 7 will be far less scrutinized by the Media but i would really love to get Francis, Curnow etc here
  14. Well Well Well Not even Damien Barrett can claim we stuffed up this trade period There is no doubt we put ourselves in an ideal position to draft the player we are wanting at pick 3 The depth of this draft is quite shallow which gives us an opportunity to get a another good player at Pick 7 I think we just outfoxed 17 other clubs The players we wanted we got The picks we wanted we got Thanks for being BOLD Josh Mahoney and Co
  15. I would expect the Bombers to take Parish Apart from the obvious Midfielder we still need a Tall Forward and Tall Defender Landing one gem out of 3 would be great with anything better highly unlikely in this years draft
  16. I would have kept him BUT those in the know said otherwise Hawks could use him for a backup/depth player Hawks are in a far better list position that us Great for Fitzy if he gets another opportunity
  17. How ironic - Paul Johnson was an Eagle before being traded to us for pick 29 Pick 29 was Matt Rosa
  18. Think its more being disappointed more than anything Oh and i can name 17 other Clubs that have supporters just like that
  19. Those who STILL think Jack Watts is a one grab pack crasher, dead eyed dick shot for goal , quick bulldozer type mid need to stop watching his pre draft highlights He is an Outside Player and always will be In his first 2 seasons it was starting to get obvious that Watts was never going to be a Carey, Brown, Hart type You could claim that he is a Third Tall either end of the ground but IMO he is best suited to the Wing On a Wing his speed and height combination would be hard to match up on IMO WING is the most prominent 1 on 1 position on the ground throughout the duration of a game He does have a football brain and makes good decisions but he tends to lack URGENCY at times In a Team that spreads really well he can be an asset turning defence into attack Gone are the days when players only run one way He needs to improve his endurance as the restriction to rotations in 2016 will make it harder for him I hope he stays
  20. I doubt there will be a BIG FISH traded to us this year Could put ourselves in a better position to land one next year though Jaeger O'meara springs to mind IMO the most important big fish is wearing #1 with us already Need to lock him down during next year Amazed Freo haven't thrown the kitchen sink at him already
  21. Essendon is by far the hardest club to deal with at the trade table I am confident we can get 2 first round picks by the end of the trade period I do want to retain or better pick 6 though Wouldnt even mind an extra early first rounder in next years draft Melksham IMO would be in our best 22
  22. Like every team in the competition they have drafted players that have not met expectations and some who played only a few games and vanished into the vapour (lower grade football) Jimmy i still think can be ok at AFL level but his progress indicates to me he will never reach a standard we would expect from a high draft pick An outside Midfielder is NOT what we need and we should replace him with a draft pick (second rounder) or better yet one from next years draft The ideal Midfielder should be both in the modern game Dominant players in schoolboy or lower grade football are NOT automatic stars in the AFL Fyfe was pick 20 which indicates to me that every draft their will be a GEM somewhere Tapscott was picked at 18 remember The if only we selected Ollie Wines has been done to death We need to move on and do our very best in getting more draft picks right than wrong A bit of mongrel and ruthlessness aka Viney would help
