Neville was extremely diligent in his rehabilitation from shoulder surgery over the summer, only to injure his foot during the practice games at Casey, which cost him four months. He was again meticulous with his rehab, and was consequently able to come straight back in at VFL level and play good football. Great kid but been treading water for four years. Doesn't impact games, low possessions , not quick, no hurt factor, tackles a lot because he is never first to the ball. A real spectator on the field. But a lovlier guy you couldn't meet.

Maybe he should spend a bit of time with ?cousin Lewis......find out what is really required especially mentally to succeed. After all, Lewis took a couple of years to really fire, didn't he?

Needs to not be injured for a little while to really show his ware. I rate his toughness and generally good skills. He'll not be a star by any means, but I think he can stick in the team.

If I wasn't so amazed by what you wrote, I would be disgusted, last season Nev had worked digilently or diligently as it says on the MFCs ite, he was ready to go when he did his ankle and was out for four months, to get back into the side (yes I agree pretty easy last season), shows he is more than a show pony, he could have easily coasted with his rehab

If he can get through unscathed this pre season, and if he does it will be the first time by the way, he will be able to show what he can do

He isn't Sydney Swans Jetta quick but is surely not slow. His first 3 or 4 steps away from trouble are quite quick and you will find he does get space when he has the ball which means he has time to deliver it. And he can kick all right, so that puts him ahead of a many of our hackers (Bartram, MacDonald, Bail).

A small forward with no goal sense, or a midfielder who doesn't find the footy enough? I don't think he has played in defence yet, but I feel like people are clutching at straws thinking he has the tools to play there.

36 games over 4 years is enough opportunity to show something, even with a few injuries, and I don't think he comes close to demanding a new contract. Delist for me.

He is not fast then and his level of pace is not above moderate for his type of player at AFL.

Simon Godfrey type but a slightly better kick. Hard worker with lots of endeavour but I cant see what set of skills he has that he will establish a regular position in a competitive side.

I wouldnt be surprised if he is cut. either
