Unconfirmed reports that we have just offered Collingwood pick 13 and Martin for Dawes and Rounds

considering trade week doesn't commence (sorry....Gilette Trade Week) until Monday, I'd say that's very unconfirmed

Seriously got to love the trade period, I thought being brought up a Catholic, tooth fairy, Easter & Christmas was the biggest time in your life when you heard fanciful stories, well I think teh trade period well and truly replaces those old myths

Why on earth would you even consider Rounds in a package.

He has been in the system 3 years for 1 game.

To me that is ammunition for a de-listing not a trade.

I don't know why Melbourne would be looking at this sort of trade until 10.05am on Monday once we know what pick we'll be using for Viney. This trade would start to sound sane if it was pick 26 instead of 14, but even then it's not even.

Please god...no..

Why P_Man?

To get something you have to give up something.

I would prefer to keep Martin however we have a poor list we finished effectively last with one real win.

There must be at least 12 - 15 players that are not good enough on our list.

We have to change some of these players this year and next year and the year after.

So get used to the fact a number of players on our list will leave in the next 3 years.

This is only year one.

Martin too Coll for Dawes

Martin too StK for Ray & 2nd rounder

Martin too Hawtorn for Savage. I would like this one!

Martin too Hawthorn for Young.

Martin too Bulldogs for 2nd rounder. Or this one!

It's all just too hard, isn't it? :P

Similar to the pick 4 for Dawes and Wellingham IMO. No way would Melbourne be this stupid. Remember, we are the Demons, not the Dockers.

God these rumours crack me up, some moron journo to big noting spud says or posts something, it gets online and races around. All coming from the one source originally, so many hear it from different sources it must be true....

    DELUGE by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons overcame their inaccuracy and the wet inhospitable conditions to overrun the lowly Northern Bullants at Genis Steel Oval in Cramer Street, Preston on Saturday. It was an eerie feeling entering the ground that in the past hosted many VFA/VFL greats of the past including the legendary Roy Cazaly. The cold and drizzly rain and the sparse crowd were enough to make one want to escape to the nearby Preston Market and hang out there for the afternoon. In the event, the fans

    INSANITY by Whispering Jack

Somehow, the Melbourne Football Club managed it twice in the course of a week. Coach Simon Goodwin admitted it in his press conference after the loss against the Brisbane Lions in a game where his team held a four goal lead in the third term:   "In reality we went a bit safe. Big occasion, a lot of young players playing. We probably just went into our shell a bit. "There's a bit to unpack in that last quarter … whether we go into our shells a bit late in the game."   Well

    UNBACKABLE by The Oracle

They’re billing the Brisbane Lions as a sleeping giant — the best team outside the top eight —and based on their form this month they’re a definite contender for September AFL action. Which is not exactly the best of news if you happen to be Melbourne, the visiting team this week up at the Gabba.  Even though they are placed ahead of their opponent on the AFL table, and they managed to stave off defeat in their last round victory over North Melbourne, this week’s visitors to the Sunshi

    WILDCARDS by KC from Casey

Casey’s season continued to drift into helplessness on Sunday when they lost another home game by a narrow margin, this time six points, in their Round 13 clash with North Melbourne’s VFL combination. The game was in stunning contrast to their last meeting at the same venue when Casey won the VFL Wildcard Match by 101 points. Back then, their standout players were Brodie Grundy and James Jordon who are starring in the AFL with ladder leaders, the Sydney Swans (it turned out to be their last
