What was Brisbane thinking when they let Polec go! Must admit Port is good to watch

Port are great to watch, they've drafted exceptionally well.

Hartlett, Boak, Wines and Wingard are all high quality players.

Polec and Ebert have been good cheap pick ups for them.

Pittard looks likely down back.

I absolutely love the kid! He's represents everything you want in a footballer, Bloody star!

Yet another reason to hate that flapwit Neeld. Not like we needed any. By god he made some mindnumbingly awful decisions.

I love him too, I ll find myself checking his stats for a long time to come I reckon. His non recruitment by us hurt him and it showed, he wanted to be a Demon and that's why I'm happy to see him doing so well.

Amazing isn't it?

Go back a few pages and youll still find f**k-tards stupid enough to say this is no big deal.

An awesome 2012, TAC player of the series, BEST AVAILABLE EVERY F*CKING TIME. Period.

Does anyone remember the look on poor Ollie's face when we read out jimmy's name??

It feels like he's rubbing our face in it every time he plays.. just like rd.1 last year when he BOG-ed ahead of Viney..

Yeah pick at scabs.

Wines becoming a great player doesn't mean Toumpas won't be one.

But don't let me stop the panic and wrist cutting.

Just how far away do you think Toumpas is from a BOG performance that rivals Wines? You're obviously happy enough to wait for it.

Yes. I am happy for our young players to develop for a change. So is our coach.

Not often you get players WANTING to put on the red and blue before being drafted. What a kick in the guts that must have been to him.

Good on him for showing us up, I'd be [censored] off too. Still a chance when Viney runs out as our captain in 4 or 5 years that Wines might have trekked back to Melbourne, but it sounds like he and Wingard have become very close mates in the last year.

Like we don't have enough misery to go round. If this thread is going to be bumped every time he plays a blinder, it's going to be bumped every second week.

He's just re-signed. The thread serves no purpose other than to mourn the fact he doesn't play for us. Lock it and let's move on.

Let's acknowledge the mistake and move on.

Toumpas will never impact a contest like Wines.

    BOILED LOLLIES by The Oracle

In the space of a month Melbourne has gone from chocolates to boiled lollies in terms of its standing as a candidate for the AFL premiership.  The club faces its moment of truth against a badly bruised up Collingwood at the MCG. A win will give it some respite but even then, it won’t be regarded particularly well being against an opponent carrying the burden of an injured playing list. A loss would be a disaster. The Demons have gone from a six/two win/loss ratio and a strong percentag

CLEAN HANDS by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons headed into town and up Sydney Road to take on the lowly Coburg Lions who have been perennial VFL easy beats and sitting on one win for the season. Last year, Casey beat them in a practice match when resting their AFL listed players. That’s how bad they were. Nobody respected them on Saturday and clearly not the Demons who came to the game with 22 players (ten MFC), but whether they came out to play is another matter because for the most part, their intensity was lacking an

    ALAS SPRINGS by Whispering Jack

I got the word on Saturday from someone who knows someone inside the Fremantle camp that the Dockers were pumped and supremely confident about getting the W the next day against Melbourne at TIO Traeger Park in the red heart of the country. I was informed that the Dockers were extremely confident for a number of reasons. They had beaten the Demons on their home territory at the MCG at their last two meetings so they didn’t see beating them at Alice Springs as a problem. They belie

    TROUBLE by The Oracle

Situated roughly in Australia's geographic centre, Alice Springs has for many years been a troubled town suffering from intermittent crime waves, particularly among its younger residents. There was a time a little while ago when things were so bad that some even doubted the annual AFL game in the town would proceed.  Now, the hope is that this Sunday’s Melbourne vs Fremantle encounter will bring joy to the residents of the town and that through the sport and the example of the participants,
