We would have won this game. How sickening.

Nup. We would've done the same ridiculous i50 no matter who we played. That doesn't work in finals

Fix definitely on. How was that htb, he didn’t even take full possession. Coitrell was deliberate rushed no free.

Fagan has to go if they choke this

Zero GFs from half a dozen finals

The Lions will settle and win it

hopefully Zorko does a hammy too

The most infuriating thing about Collingwood making the Grand Final is that they’re not even that [censored] good.

On paper, no.

To beat them you need to out coach them. There's a reason why Goodwin is 1-3 against McRae (and barely got over the line in that one win).

They are exceptionally well coached.

Lions doing a Lions and chitting the bed in fine style

Brisbane are chokers like Port. If they win, Carlton will have to absolutely fold. This result so far is not surprising. It'd have been the same if we were playing.

How can the football gods let this happen

Vegas will be lucky to score a goal tonight.

Pack your bags Fagan…

Brisbane fans were horrible to us last year in the finals.

Eat this you chokers.

So were the Blues last week.  The C word directed our way after the match

All clubs have their nuffies.  Some more than others

Agreed. They are under enormous pressure and don’t currently look like they can cope with it.

We were always going to be in with a shot if we’d made it. A genuine shot at the flag was thrown away in the 90 second disaster last week.

  • PREVIEW: Essendon

Not long ago, the narrative surrounding Melbourne was steeped in pessimism. There was some concern among the pundits (and even some fans) that the club would arrive at the AFL’s Gather Round still winless, vulnerable to a familiar adversary in the Essendon Football Club, and facing significant scrutiny from an ever-critical media on a national stage. Things have changed.

  • REPORT: Gold Coast

Steven King astutely identified the issues that had plagued the Melbourne Football Club over the past two and a half seasons when he auditioned for the newly created coaching role. The side that had claimed the 2021 premiership had become stodgy, slow-paced, and hesitant to take the initiative.
