We didn’t capitalise but it’s pretty clear we should win this. Just need to come out composed and take our chances.

Would love a win at kardinia to kick off the end of the week!!

 Let’s go Dees

Geelong flogging us in the tackle count.. most of their tackles don’t count however as they are off the ball.

Hawkins super surprised the umpires don't listen to his demand for a free on the siren. Don't those fans/umpires listen anymore! Write a letter to Gil, Tom. He'll overturn it

Brayshaw needs to work at the meat department. He’s a butcher.

Maybe during the week focus on your kicking skills instead of playing golf!

Geelong players allowed to take on tackles. Ball up.

So many fend offs that we've wrapped up in tackles

It's 70 to 51 Melbourne's way

Viney is carrying our midfield this past few weeks. Such a workhorse and getting back to his damaging best.

Gawny is really struggling. The balance with him and Grundy just isn’t working and it’s effected Gawns form badly now. Need to rethink how we use him and have a word to the umpires about how often he’s blocked or belted off the ball!

Why’s that not fifty against Hawkins?
torp from the middle no one on the line defending the dribble……..

I was hoping for a 50, then because Hawkins would still be arguing we’d get a second 50 and a shot on goal

Smashing them in all aspects of the game.

Hunter’s over the head no look handball to Brayshaw towards the end of that quarter was the greatest thing I’ve ever seen.

I cannot remember a worse team that the current Melbourne team, for giving up goals/opportunities for goals in the last minute of a quarter. I turned to my wife and said, "watch this, mindless turnover coming up followed by shot on goal..."

If we could kick, no-one would get anywhere near us. I know it is wet, but our kicking remains our biggest issue.

Brayshaw is no 1 turnover merchant atm

As a percentage of disposals i would like to wager Lingers is worse.

Gus yes but not as a ratio.  Gets alot more of it.

That last kick was a horror though.

Umpiring is embarrassing.

So Chandler gets taken high but continues to play on as no call.  Then as he's attempting to kick the goal the ump calls the free but then says he's taking advantage.

Geelong tossing it around like a rugby ball.... never called.  Viney attempts an overhead HB and according to the commentators he "may have got a fist to it" .... pinged straight away.

But to add insult to injury just prior to that the Geelong defender grabs the contested ball 20m out from our goal throws out a don’t argue but gets tackled to the ground holding the ball. Definite free kick but nup not from these Nuppties!

We should run them off their feet now. We are coming off a 10 day “bye” and them off a 6 day break from Adelaide.

Gus Brayshaw.

We had 30 second and he had the ball with zero pressure. On the wing. All it needed was a kick to the advantage to a forward (at the very least). What does he do?

Kicks the ball out on the full.

It is genuinely astonishing how often we do that sort of thing. And from him in particular.

Its just so lazy.

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session.
