3 - Hunter. We won this game with our overall movement. Many contributed but some have to be identified as best.

2 - Petracca. Things often went wrong for him but he kept on being the heavy impact body all day and the unglamorous effort deserves reward.

1 - J V Rooooooyen. That's a handy debut that did all the things expected.

Too kind to Trac imo but you did make a case.

Spot on re Grundy.

He moves like Cathy Freeman( I saw her running at Fawkner Park once...smooth)

As mentioned above this was a full team effort so apologies to everyone I missed and what a debut by JVR plus Hunter, Judd McVee and Kade Chandler, Spargo, May, Lever, Fritsch, Sparrow, Hibbo, Petty and Gus. I hope BBB is ok and what a goal that was from Melksham.!! Can’t believe I left out Bowser and Alex.!!

    Demonland Trackwatcher Gator ventured down the freeway to bring you his observations from Friday morning's Match Simulation out at Casey Fields. Rehab: Jake Lever and Charlie Spargo running laps.  Lever was running short distances at a fast click as well as having kick to kick with a trainer. He seems unimpeded.     THAT WAS THE YEAR THAT WAS: 2024

    Whichever way you look at it, the Melbourne Football Club’s 2024 season can only be characterized as the year of its fall from grace. Whispering Jack looks back at the season from hell that was. After its 2021 benchmark premiership triumph, the men’s team still managed top four finishes in the next two seasons but straight sets finals losses consigned them to sixth place in both years.
