I do. I want Melbourne people.

Our flag was built with a mix of Melbourne one club players and trading in from other clubs, would love to live in an AFL world players stayed but salary cap will always force players out of top clubs.

This is just pure fluff!!!!

It is based on an article in today's Hun.

Even that article considered the story fluff and concluded that  "Pickett loves playing at Melbourne and while he doesn’t especially love the big-city lifestyle, he has a girlfriend in Victoria and it is as much a home as any big city across Australia"

Can we please stop sharing Zero Hanger articles the blokes running that have no idea and just make up anything for clicks or copy fox sports articles.

Agreed. The authors at Zero Hanger basically do it as a hobby. Most of the ‘articles’ are just opinion pieces.

Gotta get this of my chest, sorry in advance for my rant.
Honestly are we the most despised and disrespcted club in the AFL, it just always seems that ALL them OTHERS want too bring us to our knees, even when we where crap they tried. Yeah we’ve made mistakes, and therefore been made the scapegoat for actions all others seem too get away with or brushed under the rug as nothing too see here. FMD we just sign AB for life and the very next day it’s Kozzie their after, F OFF CRETINS. And ya no what it has been that way since our golden era of the fiddys. I’m respectful off all our opponents simply because it’s too easy too be bitten on the rump, as we have been in the past,” wat are you doing in sept”.😳. Believe me I would love being hated because we ARE good, but sadly we are only despised and disrespected, and this coming into the business end of the season is simply a rues to upset us in some way or another, being the MFC. I’m really happy and content I’ve been around for another flag, but after this ‘little’ snipe at us again it’s pushed me ova the edge and I want more premierships than ever, let’s just beat the crap outta them and shut shop to all media, except our own MFC  media off course. I better stop now. Flemo

Funnily enough, when I first saw that tatt, I felt a sense of relief.

The other 15 clubs and franchises would all love to take about 15 players from our list.

Kossy is simply a talented player who has not signed a long term contract yet, so who will the eels in the media talk about?

yep , the MCC v VFL corporate egos  clash decades ago still  lingers.  MFC is seen as an extension of the elitists.Thats why you still hear morons in the media spew out the 'skiing at Bulla ' 'jokes.

The media will be furious if we go B2B.

Uur contract discussions are like a yum cha spinning table.

I've had far too many rice paper Jacksons already, time to slide the sweet corn Brayshaw around... oh dear it is already all eaten. Well, those deep fried Pickett wings look good. Hmm, nobody wants any Harmes-to-Essendon dumplings?

They don't know [censored] about [censored].

It is the most toxic media out there (all media is), always digging up nonsense everywhere. Social media has ruined this.

No-one realises how much social media has messed with society and the mental health of players and or people in general.

Welcome to the no nonsense club

That’s just a manager letting the club know via the media that he knows his client is worth a good deal, and that they just spent money on players and he wants to be next in line.

I’m sure the club aren’t sitting around thinking ‘maybe Koz doesn’t know he’s a good player, and we can offer him a 2006 Kia Rio and throw in a weekend trip to Phillip Island?’

We get it. He’s a valuable player. Now climb back under your rock until it’s actually your time.

I have to say that this line here really got me 😂

And Libba has Bart and Homer Simpson on his.

Just thought I'd write that for no other reason than to illustrate Libba's terrible taste

So let me try to predict how this will go.....

"Kosi has met with (insert club name here)"...

"He is genuinely undecided about his future"....

"He is currently fielding offers"....

"Kosi will leave (insert large amount of money) on the table if he re-signs with MFC"....

OR

He signs a new contract next year with no fuss at all, leaving the media shattered that they can no longer fill pages with speculation.

Libba also has “If found, please return to (his address)” on his leg. His dad was asked, “but what if he changes his address?” Tony said, “He already has, twice.” 😑
