And then he gets horribly outmarked

Then kicks a great one on the siren.

Good start!

Weed you bewdy

Big sexual Sam Weideman with his second goal of the quarter you ripper!

WWEWEEEEEEED GRAB YOUR CHANCE SON!

Weid looks focused, and pumped. Really like his attitude tonight. Maybe tonight's the night we look back and see the beginning of a great forward. We're calling out for one, maybe he's already here!?

Excellent ending to the quarter. I'm very pleased about the way in which Melksham and Weideman have started. They're going to be hard to drop if they continue to play this way for the rest of the game.

Looking much more 2021

What fantastic pressure by Neal-Bullen to create that goal for Weiderman and what a finish by him. That should give him massive confidence.

Kudos to Melksham in that quarter for doing the team thing that quarter and instead of blazing away for goal looked for better options

A very good quarter and lets keep it going.

Dale took his eyes off the ball and moved straight into him lmao

They're worried about his contest in the air as he has flown at everything since minute 1.

1-on-1 bodywork not the best, but that's not necessarily his game.

Just want to say props to the Demon Army - strong, vocal turnout here at this [censored] hole stadium!

P.S. never seen so many pairs of tracksuit pants in one place

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
