Any info on him would be appreciated Dazzle. Back, mid, forward, etc?

TIA

Tiernan Stynes is the same age and would be eligible for the same draft. I have no idea if he is even playing football anymore. He seems more focused on Basketball.

From a  9th May 2018 AFL Website article on Father/Sons:

Watch list:

Jeff White's son Kalani, 11, is another the club is keeping an eye on while he plays his footy for Surfers Paradise in Queensland. White also has twin sons named Kai and Tahj, still only seven years old. Adem Yze's son Noah, 12, Aaron Davey's son Marley, 8, David Schwarz's son Cooper, 14 and Shane Woewodin's son Taj, 15, are others on the Demons' radar, although admittedly they are all very young. Defender Nathan Brown also has three sons – Kynan, 13, Jake, 11, a talented soccer player, and Ryder, 9.

Past father-son successes:

Todd and Jack Viney are the club's major success story, with father and son both winners of the Demons' best and fairest award (1993, 1998 and 2016 respectively). Steven and Billy Stretch, Ron Barassi snr and jnr, Alan and Chris Johnson and Glenn Molloy and Graham Molloy are other examples of Melbourne's father-son combinations. - Ben Guthrie

Kynan Brown has made the official Oakleigh Chargers squad this year as a bottom age prospect. Is eligible for father son next year.

Oakleigh will be quite strong this year and young Kynan was named emergency for today's win against Sandringham Dragons.

From what I have been told, Kynan is around the 180cm mark and is a tough midfielder who goes in hard.

Sounds like a chip off the old block. Wish him well…

Wouldn't that give BT the conniptions - would have to ask other commentators a question about 'Which Brown was that?" or would just pick another player like 'Sparrow' as he hasn't got a clue! Would likely get the right answer from Richo or Hodge

If Kynan plays with the courage and skill of his dad he’ll be a great prospect.

Hope he has a better footy brain than his old man. Got a lot of it, but when under pressure........

Will be a star defender with dash, dare and skill just like his old man!

Saw Nathan Browns first game vs Carltank years ago, shock of blond hair and Insane courage. Could play!🤩

Loved the way Nathan played his footy he was hard tough and courageous. Good luck Kynan work hard develop your fitness, hardness and skills it would be great to see you in the Red and Blue.!!

#55 Kynan Brown

“One for Melbourne fans to watch as a potential father-son candidate, Brown (son of Nathan), produced some exciting moments in his NAB League debut. The hard-at-it midfielder got a run through the engine room and also impacted up forward, snaring two goals from 17 disposals and four inside 50s. Both of Brown’s majors were fair efforts, particularly the second term snap which he seemed pretty pleased with. Still a bottom-ager, there’s some exciting traits to work with.”

After five consecutive defeats, the Demons have now notched up back-to-back victories, comfortably accounting for the Tigers in the traditional ANZAC Eve clash. They surged to a commanding 44-point lead early in the final quarter before easing off the pedal, resting skipper Max Gawn and conceding the last four goals of the game to close out a solid 20-point win.

  • PREVIEW: Richmond

A few years ago, the Melbourne Football Club produced a documentary about the decade in which it rose from its dystopic purgatory of regular thrashings to the euphoria of a premiership victory. That entire period could have been compressed in a fast motion version of the 2025 season to date as the Demons went from embarrassing basket case to glorious winner in an unexpected victory over the Dockers last Saturday. They transformed in a single week from a team that put in a pedestrian effort of predictably kicking the ball long down the line into attack that made a very ordinary Bombers outfit look like worldbeaters into a slick, fast moving side with urgency and a willingness to handball and create play with shorter kicks and by changing angles to generate an element of chaos that yielded six goals in each of the opening quarters against Freo.
