He is full of [censored]…but no one can post the real story here, as admins will delete it

You were booted off here last time you posted rumour and innuendo.

Do it again and there'll be no coming back under a different name.

But I'm sure the 'real story' is fascinating.

"Kid who moved back home to be closer to family doesn't spend all day of every day at home with mum and dad"

This thread should be over and out. Please.

He's gone. There's no more to say. He is no longer one of us.

Luke Jackson showing signs of his 2021 GF form according to The Age. Looks like that mystery knee niggle has been sorted out.

“Luke Jackson was everywhere for the Dockers in his debut, sharing ruck duties with Sean Darcy, kicking a goal, and spending time behind the play in defence. He won the ball off the ground after a centre bounce and handballed to fellow recruit Jaegar O’Meara who speared a kick onto the chest of Nat Fyfe on the lead”

We have gawndy now. I don’t care what Jackson does.

So just like Chip, he mailed in his games knowing he was leaving. Say what you like about Danger, he played his heart out with the Crows knowing he was out the door.

I watched the first q of the freo crows game.

Jackson played pretty well. As wxpected Darcy was number one ruck, but Jackson probably played about 40% in the ruck.

Did some nice things when the ball hit the ground.

Played forward mostly when not rucking.

Marked on the chest leading out from full forward.

And from 30 kicked gun barrel straight for a goal.

Which was when the penny dropped he was no longer a Demon player!

Points of order. He wasn't THAT amazing in the GF. And 'He was everywhere' may simply mean he was tried in lots of positions, so need to panic yet. On a brighter note, Freo lost.

and i bet he's:

  • training the house down
  • never been fitter
  • settling in well
  • helping the kids
  • bring his premiership experience
  • looking forward to having an impact
  • loving all the boys.

We played Frawley up forward and, I am told, we didn’t try very hard to keep him knowing we wanted to get ND3 as compensation. Much prefer to have had Brayshaw.

And enjoying the new surroundings.

If you take off the spectacles of bitterness, it is not unusual that a player who was hampered with injury for a large part of 2022 has been able to return to full fitness over the offseason and perform well in the first practice match of 2023.

Some people just can't get used to the idea that a Melbourne player would wish to leave us, despite the fact that players leave every club every year.  We just  picked up three new faces in this very manner.

Yes, But it’s only ok if we do it.

@Kick_It_To_Pickett or  Anyone who got the rumour mill message of why he left able to forward it my way as well cheers

Im happy for a PM as well :)

Typical game from the overrated forward- ruckman.

Did a couple of very nice things as a ruck-mid but next to stuff all besides an uncontested mark/goal as a key forward which is where Freo will play him for 70% of each game.

+1 on the PM/DM plz. Surely we should be able to post rumour and/or innuendo on here as long as it confirmed as such? I don’t get the big issue.

Agreed on both points.

1) the legend of his third quarter artificially grows by the day. He got a couple of possession and maybe 1 or 2 clearances as well giving away 1 or 2 fees. I can think of a few players that had far more influence in the 3rd quarter of the Gf.

2) He was everywhere on Friday night because technically he played in various nominal positions.

I presume these players were billeted with their ex team players as well.......just asking

SM is going to love him resting his teeth in the Forward pocket

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
