Well done Gus.

i am one of his biggest critics on this site, i think, but i think the role he's been playing this year as defensive fold-back wing has been nothing short of excellent and it's a fantastic achievement to get to 100 games given the adversity he's battled thru with concussion and serious injury last year

now - as i say of any demon who gets to 100 games - breed up, boy! i expect many father-sons and -daughters, especially given his partner is the daughter of danny frawley

surely that should produce a gun or three for future generations!

Funny watching so many pre-helmet moments there, feels to me like he’s always worn it. It serves as a reminder to the concussion issues that looked at one point like they might derail his career completely. Great to see those issues behind him and that he’s been able to get some continuity in his game.

Great stuff Gus!

Geeze he’d be pumped to be sharing this milestone with Jones’ 300th.

Well done Gussy. Here’s to the next 100.

Love what he brings to the side and he’s a great clubman.

The podcast was funny this week where he coined the phrase Gunk 400th referring to the combined Gus and Chunk 400 games for the game tonight. It’s personalities like his that are the glue holding the club together.

Congrats on the milestone Gus.

Gus seems to have been forgotten in the Jones 300th & ANZAC Eve occasion.

Gee, those highlights remind you what a good goal kicking midfielder he is. Well done, Gussy. Loving the sacrifice you're making playing on a wing for us. The way he's been getting back defensively, but then getting into space on the outside to provide offensive drive has been really impressive.

Anyone else a regular watcher/listener of the Gus and Gawny podcast? Angus goes alright on that, and it's good to see him starting to really show great form again after a couple of years of uncertainty being pushed out of the midfield.

Big fan of Gus. Has been huge this year. Stats don’t always tell the story.
gus has been working really hard

One of the players who is sacrificing for the team, and a big reason for our improvement.

Won't be a Brownlow winner playing his role, but puts team above self. That's been a rare commodity in modern Demons sides.

Well done on the 100 Angus.

Here's to 200 more.

Would love to see him return to the centre square at some stage as I feel he plays his best footy as an attacking midfielder. Been fantastic on a wing though and shows his character that he is willing to sacrifice his game for the team. Looking forward to another 100+ games from Gus.

How time flies like Dusty clocking up 250.

Given Gus’s concussion problems it is a mighty effort.

Courage, fortitude and determination.

As weird as seeing clips of early Nate Jones with hair!!

Given the concussion issues he has overcome this is a mighty effort. Playing a real team role for the club this year. Delighted with how he is travelling

Well done Gus

Gus loving your new role and the way you are attacking the game, foot skills have improved out of sight combined with your tough tackling and courageous attack on the pill, its a pleasure to watch.

Here's to the next ? Gussy boy.

#Gunk 400?‍?

Very happy lad singing the song, as they all were of course.

Well  done Gus.  Love your work.

Has been putting on some great spoils and taking really courageous marks dropping back into defense with the flight of the ball.

How about getting your brother to come play with us as well??!

I'm pretty sure Robbo failed to mention Gus' 100th at the top of the game. Is that right or did I miss it?

Gus is playing a very team oriented role, I think his favourite position is in the guts but he is really coming into his own as a winger now. He just seems to pop up everywhere and is doing a really good job in his new role.

Well done on 100 games, Gus!

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Port Adelaide

The undefeated Demons venture across the continent to the spiritual home of the Port Adelaide Football Club on Saturday afternoon for the inaugural match for premiership points between these long-historied clubs. Alberton Oval will however, be a ground familiar to our players following a practice match there last year. We lost both the game and Liv Purcell, who missed 7 home and away matches after suffering facial fractures in the dying moments of the game.

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmy’s inclusive banner—"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwood’s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.

  • CASEY: Frankston

The late-season run of Casey wins was broken in their first semifinal against Frankston in a heartbreaking end at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday night that in many respects reflected their entire season. When they were bad, they committed all of the football transgressions, including poor disposal, indiscipline, an inability to exert pressure, and some terrible decision-making, as exemplified by the period in the game when they conceded nine unanswered goals from early in the second quarter until halfway through the third term. You rarely win when you do this.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecast—20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze — expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.

  • AFLW REPORT: Collingwood

Expectations of a comfortable win for Narrm at Victoria Park quickly evaporated as the match turned into a tense nail-biter. After a confident start by the Demons, the Pies piled on pressure and forced red and blue supporters to hold their collective breath until after the final siren. In a frenetic, physical contest, it was Captain Kate’s clutch last quarter goal and a missed shot from Collingwood’s Grace Campbell after the siren which sealed a thrilling 4-point win. Finally, Narrm supporters could breathe easy.
