Young Blood 2,642 Posted October 27, 2020 Posted October 27, 2020 I thought he was very solid this year. His physicality in the back half is so important. If my brother passed away suddenly I would just fall apart. Amazing he was able to perform the way he did with everything else on top of that. 13 1 Quote
Adam The God 30,744 Posted October 27, 2020 Posted October 27, 2020 Well done, Hibbo. A one year deal is a sensible move. I reckon he's got one more quality season left and then we'll have to reassess. 4 Quote
Pickett2Jackson 3,904 Posted October 27, 2020 Posted October 27, 2020 He had a nice bounce back to form this season after a terrible 2019. Was a phenomenal effort considering his personal tragedy earlier in the year. Well done Hibbo. 4 Quote

Caligula's cohort 1,014 Posted October 27, 2020 Posted October 27, 2020 I hope we can get 100 games out of Hibbo. Very courageous and gives his all every game. I wish we had a few more like him. 4 Quote
FritschyBusiness 1,478 Posted October 27, 2020 Posted October 27, 2020 one of my favs, always has a red hot crack 2 Quote
nosoupforme 3,085 Posted October 27, 2020 Posted October 27, 2020 Hibberd can hold his own I don't doubt his ability however one year deal is a good one and he can easily play a further year after that. Tough as nails 6 Quote
Timothy Reddan-A'Blew 5,690 Posted October 27, 2020 Posted October 27, 2020 Michael's is one of those stories, isn't it. Nice then. 1 Quote
Diamond_Jim 12,773 Posted October 27, 2020 Posted October 27, 2020 One year deal makes sense. I suppose we will have to trade for a replacement at the end of 2021 as I can't see anyone pushing for his spot. Quote
Demon3 2,541 Posted October 27, 2020 Posted October 27, 2020 Sensible contract for a player nearing teh end but think he has another good year in him. He really did have a solid year and that's what you want from him, rarely beaten, attacking and urgent. great backman assets. 1 Quote

Takes a strong person to do what he did and was consistently near our best 5 each game. Deserves to start in Round1 next year opposite Riv on the HB flanks. 2 Quote
dl4e 5,851 Posted October 27, 2020 Posted October 27, 2020 Excellent. And a sensible time frame as well. Quote
Pates 9,697 Posted October 27, 2020 Posted October 27, 2020 Given the tragedy surrounding his year and then having to go into the hub environment he did a remarkable job. He also showed the value in dropping a senior player to a younger player (Rivers) a crack, Hibbo forced his way back in and looked so much more like his old self. 3 Quote
Rodney (Balls) Grinter 11,064 Posted October 27, 2020 Posted October 27, 2020 Very glad to see Hibbo given this contract extension. Certainly does the red and blue number 14 guernsey proud every time he takes the field. 2 Quote
Grr-owl 1,258 Posted October 27, 2020 Posted October 27, 2020 Love Hibbo. Love calling his name when he goes near it. Champ. Quote
BDA 23,048 Posted October 27, 2020 Posted October 27, 2020 Well worth his spot for next year. Would love to see him take young Rivers under his wing. Impart some of his considerable knowledge and footy IQ and ensure the kid doesn’t experience any second season syndrome. Quote
