Really sleepwalking through this game aren't we.

We have no idea.

Old mate Oscar getting touched up by Reid ?

What in the [censored] is this rubbish? Finals you lazy [censored]. Guess you prefer to go home early and enjoy lockdown.

We look way off. Better get going soon.

Oscar with the dodgy handpass and now Reid has beaten him on the lead twice.

He aint up to it.

Unless we we wake up we are history

Why is there fwd line wide open when ours was so crowded

I wonder why we bother caring about this mob sometimes, bunch of lazy sods atm

I hope we get 'into' this game before it's over.

We're making the Swans look like THEY'RE the team vying for the finals.

Woeful.

0-4 in clearances this quarter.

Inexcusable given our opponent is a poor clearance side.

We are completely off.

right on the board now

settle it down and control the tempo

You would think we were 16th and they were 8th.

Disinterested and massively complacent

No worries we are only playing for Finals and not switched on and no effort. Wonderful.

We look as flat as we did against Port.

  • REPORT: North Melbourne

It’s late February. Two teams widely predicted to finish near the foot of the AFL table in 2026 face off against each other in sweltering 30-degree heat deep in outer suburbia in a match simulation with fresh new faces and uneven team numbers. There are no nearby sheep stations on offer; the result promises nothing more than bragging rights for the winner. Nevertheless, the loser appears hopelessly adrift, whereas the other seems to have found its footing after a couple of years of struggle – perhaps a hint at bigger things to come?

It was only a preseason match but the new look Demons spearheaded by new coach Steven King looked impressive as they put on a clinic against perennial cellar-dwellers North Melbourne as they cruised to an 80 point victory at Casey Fields.
