Normally like the way Chris Scott analyses a game in a presser but he straight up just said they were off tonight and none of their players would be happy with their individual performances etc… No acknowledgment of our pressure or movement which stifled them. This is in stark contrast to how Goodie conducts himself in a loss even if the whole team is crook or walking wounded he gives his kudos straight away to the opposition and says the better team won on the night. Just an observation that irked me. Suck eggs Scott, suck eggs Geelong.

Cannot for the life me understand why TMac wasn't subbed for Schache in the last or potentially earlier. Not that I think Schache is AFL standard, but a younger/fresher/more able-bodied player would have been some sort of improvement to the witches hat that was Tmac... Could it have made a 2 point diff- who knows. Chances are Schache wouldn't have converted even if he got any looks at it like the rest of his mates.

I've never been this flat about footy before. It's all just so unjust. How can the bad guys keep getting away with it all.

Good, so it should have been. Given that list of reasons i stated that's a no brainer. Still doesn't mean there shouldn't have been an even bigger showing with nearly 30k tix still available. so with 45k+ members already paid up, a portion of MCC members that aren't dual members which doesn't count to that tally- the moot point that everyone needs to drop $200 to go to the footy doesn't apply here.

Wonder what it's going to take to get more numbers to our games. The team literally cannot do any better or play a more attractive and hard-nosed brand of footy. 56k attendance is pretty disappointing all things considered (unbeaten, ANZAC eve, Jones 300th, our home game, Richmond being our biggest test of the year etc). At best the crowd was 50-50 but i think there were more Richmond supporters from what I gathered? Maybe i need to make peace with the fact that we will always be a small (albeit passionate) fan base.

No. We sit in a cupboard with the lights off with our fingers in our ears picking a specific club legend to harbour a grudge against? Making unbiased observations is paramount. Try it.

Haven’t agreed with this sentiment until today. Has gone missing in every big clash at the G this year and it filters down. I’m so so so dissaponted. Doesn’t change how much he has done for the club though and we will all forever be in debted to his loyalty and perseverance.

Honestly jonesy i love you but if you’re playing injured just give up your spot. You’re so behind it atm
