Wow there have been some free-to-air howlers this year, but this one has to rank right up there. Has there been a rule change prohibiting players kicking longer than 20 metres?

Geebus, Bruce is like a nine year old commentating.

Three seconds behind everything going on, can't see the actual play unfolding so gets randomly excited about things that aren't actually happening and then asks the question 'Wouldn't that have been great to see?'

Seriously, he's turning into a 'did you see me mum' level commentator.

Cause we can't be trusted to turn up.

Crazy game for a Friday night, particularly how we’ve been deprived of football since Monday night ?

Good luck to GC getting any traction in the Top End. There's barely two guys and a dog cheering them on tonight. You'd have to say they've been royally screwed of any chance to showcase their club to an NT audience by being scheduled to play 3 games inside 9 days.

Would’ve given the suns an extra days rest to make it fairer as well.

EDIT I said the F word, the AFL doesn’t do “fair”!

I have only watched the last quarter but haven’t seen so many fumbles and unforced errors since ...... 2017 Melbourne v Carlton or GCS.

What a dreadful game to watch.

Blues very impressive and have Curnow back in 2021. But probably minus Betts. Commentators love Cripps but he was just okay imo.

Suns are cooked.  Youngsters running out of steam. Rankine is good but misses simple things in footy. Talent needs hard work to succeed !!’

sidebottom has left the filth's hub - and is unlikely to be back for the rest of the home and away season at any rate, with his wife due sept 12 - while ablett and edwards from cats and tigers won't be back until their final round game

As long as we win by any margin. It would be good to have a close game for once to challenge us.

Richmond to destroy Essendon I want to see them on the bottom where they belong.

West Coast to end GWS's season.

North to end the pies season.

That will do me.

Essendon will upset Richmond just because lols and that would put us ahead of Richmond.

No chance of catching Richmond.

Need them to beat the Druggos tonight to keep them below us.

2024 Player Reviews: #36 Kysaiah Pickett

The Demons’ aggressive small forward who kicks goals and defends the Demons’ ball in the forward arc. When he’s on song, he’s unstoppable but he did blot his copybook with a three week suspension in the final round. 2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May

The years are rolling by but May continued to be rock solid in a key defensive position despite some injury concerns. He showed great resilience in coming back from a nasty rib injury and is expected to continue in that role for another couple of seasons. It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield.
