    It would probably be easier to just maintain the China travel ban thou as i'd hate to miss out on the footy.

    I’m guessing by “climate cult” you’re referring to the people who side with the 3% of the world’s climate scientists?

    And I suppose you great grandfather blamed Spain for the Spanish flu and expected Spainiards to live in poverty forever.

    (Actually the Spainsh flu is a  slander on Spain since news of it was supressed in the UK USA and Germany because of wartime censorship in WWI - didn't want to affect morale in that pointless war.  Spain wasn't involved and freely published info about it so they got stuck with the name.)

    They could play games in empty stadiums like they do in Europe sometimes. Imagine round one at Optus and no partisan hordes to scream, yell and intimidate umpires. Should put WC right off their game

    Only need to ask the NRL if playing games in empty stadiums has controlled any potential outbreaks in their (ir)relevant states.

    if it's empty stadiums it'd be positive as we could watch WCE games without listening to the the excessive OTT booing. 

    Some natural attrition never goes astray.
