1. My gut feelings.

2. He wants to stay at the filth or so I am led to believe.

3. He is dangerously injury prone.

4. We are looking at Langdon and Tomlinson. How much coin is there to cover this. Elliot would want a gold nugget on his cake. Losing frost wont cover it and I don't think we should be getting rid of big name players.

I read an article a couple of years ago when he was on the “road to recovery” from another injury about he had turned himself around and how excited he was to get back on the park, he also said he wanted to be captain of the Pies one day.

I think he is a gun up fwd, not great on defensive side of game and can get found out. Love his ability to find space and can kick some goals.

Youd think he would take a longer term and higher $$ deal to play with us considering his injury issues. He probably will stay a Pie. :)

Where do I sign?

interesting how things could turn if we recruit a few players and our regulars can stay on the park. that's a forward line to work with.

Add Pick 3 whether that's Hayden Young, Sam Flanders or Lachie Ash and it's a huge trade period for us!

Glad we are chasing after Elliot.

Not really, a couple of years ago it was their biggest problem.

They have turned it around quickly (not in light years, in the space of a year), so can we...

The same as Eddie says to the rest of the AFL.

look we offer him a packet and get him, good, outcome as we dont waste a draft pick to pickup a decent player.

We offer him a packet and the pies match it screws with their salary cap, we keep our money for another play. also a very good outcome.

I thought i saw someone mention $600k pa. well i am sure we are paying that for a few injury riddled players who have not produced, so I say game on, get him.

@Demonland Easiest photoshop job ever today with the swap of Elliott's head onto Jones body? ?

I actually upped the degree of difficulty taking the Rory Laird head on Viney's body from the other week, erasing the arms and head from the image and then cutting out Elliott's head and arms and sticking them on the mutilated remains of the Laird/Viney body.

I didn't even think of using Chunk. ?‍♂️

Couldnt agree more. Unless we offer some insanely stupid amount of money then we literally have nothing to lose. Landing Langdon Tomlinson and Langdon with pick 3 still in hand is a bloody exciting prospect

This is a good situation.  If we get him, that's great.  If we don't get him, I don't think anybody will be horribly upset.  We can't lose.

Well we can lose, if our forward line is trash next year.

2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May

The years are rolling by but May continued to be rock solid in a key defensive position despite some injury concerns. 2024 Player Reviews: #4 Judd McVee

It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield. There could be more of that in 2025. 2024 Player Reviews: #3 Christian Salem

The luckless Salem suffered a hamstring injury against the Lions early in the season and, after missing a number of games, he was never at his best. He was also inconvenienced by minor niggles later in the season. This was a blow for the club that sorely needed him to fill gaps in the midfield at times as well as to do his best work in defence.
