Our power forward was [censored] mate. You haven’t been reading the news?

More [censored] frees to the [censored].

We are the filthiest team going forward in the history of the game.

Skill level is rubbish, it's going to cost us in plenty of games again this year, as per usual.

Sloppy sh*t and painful to watch.

Well let’s be honest.

At Half Time in Last Years Preliminary Final, we were Goalless, but the coach refused to review it.

I would have spent weeks pulling that game apart

I bet lots of other Clubs took a very close look at it.

Over to you Goodwin....

Dangerfield is such a stager

We've kicked 27 points across the last 4 quarters.

If you include the PF, we're looking at 4 full goalless quarters.

In our past 3 matches, we've gone the equivalent of an entire match without a goal.

And that's with 1 quarter left to play.

Worst part of this is players for MFC have given up.  That’s unforgivable.

Turning this off now... I'll watch goodies presser with interest.

All the dees got the contract extensions so who gives a [censored]. They l all come good in the final year of contract as per usual.

There will be those that giggle and deride this thread as over -reactive. They'll say we need to review in cold light of tomorrow.

They're denialist. This is crud.

Actually...we aspire to crud. This is is devestational.

Even rubbish is useful if understood.

I ...just don't understand this club.

Annoying. But hardly the difference.

I have just checked the scores but thankfully I am unable to view this.

Made the mistake of signing up last week: is it too late to request a refund?

The whole club disgracefully unprepared for the start of the season.

The Demon stalwart surpassed the number of his father's appearances for the club towards the end of the season. As he approaches his thirties, his pace is inevitably slowing, and he is likely to explore alternative opportunities beyond the team's midfield.

The Demon premiership defender who has the reputation the master of intercept possessions as well as great leadership qualities managed only eight senior games this season as he battled injury and form, prompting speculation that he might be enticed to look elsewhere.

“Disco” took his time (four seasons) but the mid-season draftee has been a shining light of Melbourne's campaign, improving to become a versatile option at either end of the ground. He has great marking skills which allows him to play as a marking target up forward or an intercepting defender down back.

The skipper delivered another outstanding season, leading the team from the front, participating in every game, and earning club champion honours, while also securing an equal record eighth All-Australian blazer as a ruckman.  Max Gawn is arguably the greatest exponent of ruck skills in the history of the game; an exceptional leader who has guided the club to a premiership, through the challenging times that followed, and now into the next phase of its storied history.

  • 2025 Player Reviews: #12 Koltyn Tholstrup

It was a frustrating season for the former number 13 draft selection, who failed to build momentum in his second campaign; Tholstrup played only nine games, having been omitted twice and substituted out three times. However, he demonstrated promising signs in the midfield at Casey towards the end of the season, and big things are anticipated from him in the coming years.

He is presently contracted to the club for an additional five years, with a substantial annual salary of approximately $1.7 million in the final seasons of his agreement. All at Melbourne are eagerly anticipating his resurgence to his previous peak performance levels.
