I remember speaking to him some years ago at a function or AGM or something at the G. Nice bloke. Good tough footballer.

He use to host one of the function rooms at the G for all of our home games. Possibly there?

Howe walked out on us. not a list management decision

and do you remember how average Dunn was in the last year or two with us? He was slow, regularly beaten and was dropped despite our average defence.  I admit I have been surprised how well he has gone at the pies but he would not change much if he was at the Dees now

He was given a helping hand and it backfired when he didn't want to go to GC. 100% a list management decision.

Careful timbo - I was condemned recently as a fair-weather band-wagon jumper for not knowing of some MFC bloke who was recruited thirty-odd years prior to my earthly emergence - by all geriatric reports a true champion of our club - despite having comprehensively researched and incorrectly concluded last year that Tim Smith was our staggering first ever inclusion of your name-sake. Some other guy named Tim briefly played for us in the 20s apparently (from faulty memory) - which I'm sure those castigating parties from the comparative 50s fan-club knew absolutely every last detail about.

Lewis may well be telling the kids exactly what to do and when to go, but if they are not following his instructions during a game, that is not the fault of Lewis

Lewis can't follow his own instructions these days. Just too slow to get to where he needs to be.

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan. WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. Windsor's run won't be lost playing off half back. In 19 games in 2024 he kicked 8 goals as a winger. I see him getting shots at g

Demonland's own Whispering Jack was not in attendance but he kicked off proceedings with the following summary of all the Preseason Training action to date. We’re already a month into the MFC preseason (if you started counting when the younger players in the group began the campaign along with some of the more keen older heads)

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
