What 18,810 Posted May 27, 2018 Posted May 27, 2018 (edited) No change... or will we finally see a player or two rested with a relatively short break on the return from Alice Springs? Next weeks games are quite interesting as it will see the top 9 play the bottom 9. I wonder if this has ever happened before? Edited May 27, 2018 by Petraccattack 1 Quote
Gorgoroth 13,220 Posted May 27, 2018 Posted May 27, 2018 None on form, but maybe one for a rest. 1 Quote
Josh 1,420 Posted May 27, 2018 Posted May 27, 2018 I think the top nine played the bottom nine last year after the first round which was very bizarre Quote
Wiseblood 24,637 Posted May 27, 2018 Posted May 27, 2018 No change. I know it's a 6 day turn around, but we have a 9 day break after this game leading into the Queen's Birthday clash. We've won by 200 points over the last fortnight, no need to make changes unless we absolutely have to. 1 Quote
Nasher 33,686 Posted May 27, 2018 Posted May 27, 2018 I’m tipping a disappointing 70 point victory. And no change, obviously. 9 2 Quote
Lord Travis 10,819 Posted May 27, 2018 Posted May 27, 2018 (edited) No change unless someone needs a rest. Reward brilliant form. Everyone is playing their role. Go Dees! Edited May 27, 2018 by Lord Travis 1 Quote
rolling fog 1,208 Posted May 27, 2018 Posted May 27, 2018 No changes based on form, but there's also no extra credit for naming an unchanged side for another week. The shorter week, the fast pace of todays game, heat and the fact we're back at that [censored] hole Etihad next week might necessitate a few changes. Quote
Jibroni 5,057 Posted May 27, 2018 Posted May 27, 2018 Agree with all above. Stiil cant get over todays performance, just wow. 2 Quote
buck_nekkid 6,101 Posted May 27, 2018 Posted May 27, 2018 The only change is the narrative. Time to take us seriously. Cats, Hawks and Tiggers damned happy they played us before the Tsunami started. 5 Quote
Canplay 635 Posted May 27, 2018 Posted May 27, 2018 I would give Lewis a week off, so fresh for queens bday. Travel and 6 day break on old legs. I’d bring in Hunt for leg speed. 7 Quote
DemonOX 8,857 Posted May 27, 2018 Posted May 27, 2018 (edited) When was the last time all/most of us didn’t want any changes to the side? My how things have changed. Its a great feeling. Edited May 27, 2018 by DemonOX 2 Quote
What 18,810 Posted May 27, 2018 Author Posted May 27, 2018 Also the Doggies played Friday night so they will have a lot of extra rest than us. Quote
jacey 333 Posted May 27, 2018 Posted May 27, 2018 Lighter week on the track. No one will want a rest cause they might not get back in. 6 Quote
Rod Grinter Riot Squad 5,681 Posted May 27, 2018 Posted May 27, 2018 After the Brisbane game (against GC), players had to catch a flight, so we’re a bit rushed. Tonight they are in Alice, so will get opportunity to recover more like they normally do after a game before flying tomorrow. The boys will be fine... 3 Quote
Adzman 2,154 Posted May 27, 2018 Posted May 27, 2018 Goody might do a shorter main training session this week to get ready for dogs. I think Spargo might be an option for a rest but he deserves to play against the dogs. Quote
RalphiusMaximus 6,112 Posted May 27, 2018 Posted May 27, 2018 The only change I'd consider assuming everyone pulls up sound is Spargo. That's not a comment on his form which has been fine, but simply that he's young and might need rest now that he's had a few games at the top level. Realistically, you'd think a team that's juts won by those margins in the last two rounds would be untouchable though. Clearly the mix is right at the moment. Quote
Docs Demons 1,810 Posted May 27, 2018 Posted May 27, 2018 The team is finally playing as that A TEAM so no changes unless someone pulls up sore. Quote
Demon Dynasty 17,165 Posted May 27, 2018 Posted May 27, 2018 Our best team performance for the year......LOCK THIS THREAD!! Quote
Straight Sets Simon 23,113 Posted May 27, 2018 Posted May 27, 2018 Tom McDonald's toe the only thing to worry about. 2 1 Quote
pitmaster 3,592 Posted May 27, 2018 Posted May 27, 2018 Given the difference in recovery time we might need to switch a couple, and Tom Mac might need to be managed, but on form you'd have to stay with the group. Quote
Diamond_Jim 12,772 Posted May 27, 2018 Posted May 27, 2018 Almost impossible to make a case for a change .... NO Change. Weid and Pedersen back to Williamstown.. almost deja vu save that instead of Hibberd they will have Hunt off the backline. Next week should be a regulation win if we are the team we wish to become. 2 Quote
