13 to 6 inside 50s.

1.3 to 3.2 for the quarter.

But we all know that's not bad luck but a sign of our crap gameplan.

Some on here wanted to retain Stretch over Hannan ?

It seems when rookies come into our side they instinctively know where to be inside forward 50, then after a few weeks they become more and more indecisive and caught out of position. Is this a coaching issue whereby rather than allow instincts to dictate position the players are instructed to be somewhere which goes against their natural instinct?

Speaking to a Richmond supporter about hardwicks change from 2016 and 2017. He stated that Hardwick was told he micromanaged the game too much.

He changed his style in 2017 and told the players they made this grade because they were elite players. Go out and trust your instinicts, he also allowed the line coach’s to worry about the small things rather than him.

It was obvious last week that we are playing to instructions not instincts.

How the f are we only a goal down!

Spargo goes up to Jonesy to get around him at half-time. Jones half-heartedly slaps his hand but doesn't even look at him. No encouragement, no eye contact. Nothing.

Agree it’s a joke same thing happened in first qrt I think against hawks or north.  No reward at all then Jones seems to get pinged for playing the ball.

Despite the self-flagellation in here we’re one goal down.  There have been moments where we’ve moved the ball well, but they are too few and far between.  But for can turn quickly... fingers crossed for the second half.

Ps. Welcome to the MFC Charlie Spargo!

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
