How good was the way Matisse Stynes spoke? At 16 she spoke with poise to a massive audience, she did her dad proud.

She speaks well like her father did.

And to think no other club wanted Dusty last time he was ooc.

We overlooked him on draft night, didn't try to get him a couple of years ago.

Great.

Yep, remember that.  Roos seemed very keen early then did a severe back pedal.  Someone obviously got into his ear - unfortunately.

We lost to Freo in the last 30 seconds and 2 points.  Freo players got 3,2,1. Really fun)($d system clearly.

Oliver still unknown to the umps

Same could be said for West Coast when we beat them.

Great.

It's beyond depressing

There is a book written on the Demons last 10 years, is there a full chapter written on Dustin??

She was the best presenter, the rest were quite awkward. A beautiful young lady, Jim would be so proud.

Probably because Oliver was handballing it to them all the time. Can't believe how poorly he polled.

I think the umpires need to get to know him and his style.  It's no coincidence that the better known players tend to poll better and young guys tend to be largely overlooked.

Dusty's awesome, but whey're lucky to have Petracca. He's a similar player.

Are the mark and goal of the year voted on by the public or just the AFL?

The public vote, then the AFL decides who wins...

I am glad Oliver didn't poll as well as he should have. Will be better odds next year. I think Dusty, Kelly, Oliver and Fyfe. Winner probably comes within those 4. The quality of talent around at present is insane. Martin is as good a mid as I've seen, and he should get better. It will take a very special player to beat him next year (Martin is only improving). Oliver, Kelly and Fyfe are all unique talents.

Bruce and Daisy reading the club by club votes. Channel 7 displaying the club vote boards. Gets to hawthorn and then goes straight to North Melbourne. They bumble and then come back to tell Dees board. Pretty obvious that we are considered irrelevant hahha. I mean seriously, no vision all nighy..the lowest votes of any club but Carlton. No vision in the highlights package.

And here I am, only knowing who Matt Priddis is on Brownlow night when he started polling well and i googled him.

Tmac getting 9 votes as a forward. I think that's where he plays now, he just doesn't seem to have it as a defender.

Swan was clearly given free reign to say whatever he felt with the betting company’s account, and attendees felt the brunt of it at times.

You know what Clayton Oliver would be if he wasn’t a footballer? A virgin. #Brownlow

What would Dane Swan be if he wasn't a footballer? Inmate 657.

Not far from the truth, a truth of which most people who think he's a knockabout top block, have either forgotten or are too young to remember:

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. Windsor's run won't be lost playing off half back. In 19 games in 2024 he kicked 8 goals as a winger. I see him getting shots at g

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
