There's a bloke who's been sitting in N12 on 2nd level of Southern Stand for the last decade who has every game and all game (this is no exaggeration) bagged any Melbourne player who's made a mistake.  He does this by shouting his abuse, obviously getting his rocks off hearing his own voice above everyone else.

It's got a bit heated a few times when those sitting around this idiot often tell him to shut up. Why would you bother going to the footy when all you do is whinge and abuse the team your supposedly barracking for?

Today his abuse was mostly targeted at Tyson, Stretch and Gartlett. He often questions players courage, but I bet the soft [censored] never put his head over a ping pong ball let alone a footy.

Anyone else in N12 having the pleasure of listening to this idiot's abuse every home game?

The guy is obviously a borderline idiot. Just ring the anti social behaviour Dobber hotline and let them deal with it. Talking to this fool would be like talking to the cat. Don't let it ruin your day.

Sorry to hear about this. We can all be negative from time to time but if someone is constantly negative it's tough for the .people around them. It can be quite offensive when people like that start going overboard with personal insults and calling our own players 'losers' on a regular basis too.

Oh Chief! I also sit in N12 and have to suffer the 'Anti- barracker'. Have my patience tested each week but today was the last straw when he targeted my beloved 'Jeffy'. That bloke is such a tool - I've had enough.

Sounds terrible. I can't even sit and watch a game on the telly with my family  when they heave and shout angrily at mistakes - but that's pretty common for more serious fans than me. (They're quieter at the footy than in the lounge room) - As for targetting players all game, that's just a whole new level of awful.

Also saw against the Saints some idiot threw his beer over the ledger in disgust (we were 4 goals up) he also splashed some patrons sitting next to him. It was in N9 front row.. This peanut should be kicked out!!

I never understand people who hurl abuse and at the players from the stands.  They know full well that the people they are yelling at can't heard them, so only conclusion I can draw is that they think all the people sitting around are actually interested and/or need to hear their little gems of wisdom.

    BOILED LOLLIES by The Oracle

In the space of a month Melbourne has gone from chocolates to boiled lollies in terms of its standing as a candidate for the AFL premiership.  The club faces its moment of truth against a badly bruised up Collingwood at the MCG. A win will give it some respite but even then, it won’t be regarded particularly well being against an opponent carrying the burden of an injured playing list. A loss would be a disaster. The Demons have gone from a six/two win/loss ratio and a strong percentag

CLEAN HANDS by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons headed into town and up Sydney Road to take on the lowly Coburg Lions who have been perennial VFL easy beats and sitting on one win for the season. Last year, Casey beat them in a practice match when resting their AFL listed players. That’s how bad they were. Nobody respected them on Saturday and clearly not the Demons who came to the game with 22 players (ten MFC), but whether they came out to play is another matter because for the most part, their intensity was lacking an

    ALAS SPRINGS by Whispering Jack

I got the word on Saturday from someone who knows someone inside the Fremantle camp that the Dockers were pumped and supremely confident about getting the W the next day against Melbourne at TIO Traeger Park in the red heart of the country. I was informed that the Dockers were extremely confident for a number of reasons. They had beaten the Demons on their home territory at the MCG at their last two meetings so they didn’t see beating them at Alice Springs as a problem. They belie

    TROUBLE by The Oracle

Situated roughly in Australia's geographic centre, Alice Springs has for many years been a troubled town suffering from intermittent crime waves, particularly among its younger residents. There was a time a little while ago when things were so bad that some even doubted the annual AFL game in the town would proceed.  Now, the hope is that this Sunday’s Melbourne vs Fremantle encounter will bring joy to the residents of the town and that through the sport and the example of the participants,
