Unlucky,  but I can see this happening if Maynard is in. The weather might work against Jack.

How?

In my opinion, Trengove has better ball handling skills than JKH and a more hardened body.

If it's going to be wet and slippery, everyone will be affected.

Sorry, meant to say if it's going to be wet like predicted, Trengove, in my opinion, can't cover the ground as quickly as JKH and if it's a scrap, a yard or two can make a big difference. JKH is no mug when it comes to hardness either, he's tackling is actually strong.

I'm happy with no change, keeping a settled team is good for confidence with each other.

Lets smash the Roos!

First no change for the year?? Maxi plays then..

I think we went in unchanged after beating a South Australian team earlier in the year. Stay away from the omens thread.

Hoping Trengove gets license to hunt the footy a bit more through the midfield.

That would be nice.  I felt last week's game really didn't really suit him to get involved in a big way.  It looked too much like he was playing cautious, within himself, trying harder not to make mistakes than taking the game on.

His skills liking up through half forward would be good.  My recollection of him at his peak was that his foot skills were pretty handy.

I know this [censored] probably belong in the JT thread, but beyond beating Norf, my second football hope for the WE is that Jack builds his place back as an AFL footballer.  The ultimate footy story, the side that was down and out climbs it's way back, along with the player who shared the same fate.

Come'on Demons, Come'on Jack (s)!

Love the auto sensor. The words Wankers and pricks are fine, but [censored] is too bad for the site with the adult dating sites as sponsors - get that!

He might feel more at home, it'll probably have a bit more of a suburban footy feel to it which is what he's been doing for the last couple of seasons.

Hope he is able to put in a really good game, like many here I just want to see him back playing regular AFL footy. Whether that's in Red and Blue or not I actually don't mind, but let's see how he goes this week.

Also I'm not feeling like this is MFCSS but I think it would be a mistake to take North lightly here. We definitely did earlier in the year and they got the jump on us, I know we've developed further as a team but for the first bounce we should bully them around like teams have done to us in the past. At 3 quarter time I want to see us with a big score and cruising comfortably.

It would be awesome to get that % back over 110%. They dont have a lot to play for, we go alright down there....in fact we go alright anywhere away (except Darwin). If theyre not switched on, then i would expect an 8 goal + win. Might be the difference in a ladder position later on....

Good to see Maynard is close.  He was elevated so may play as a late change.

On a non Melbourne note, I am surprised to see the Saints have rested Nick Riewoldt for the game vs Port.  They are surely in no position to do that when they already face an uphill battle to play finals.

Also the Tigers lost Jack Riewoldt and Prestia, while the Suns get back Ablett and May.

Gold Coast will win that game.

CLEAN HANDS by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons headed into town and up Sydney Road to take on the lowly Coburg Lions who have been perennial VFL easy beats and sitting on one win for the season. Last year, Casey beat them in a practice match when resting their AFL listed players. That’s how bad they were. Nobody respected them on Saturday and clearly not the Demons who came to the game with 22 players (ten MFC), but whether they came out to play is another matter because for the most part, their intensity was lacking an

    ALAS SPRINGS by Whispering Jack

I got the word on Saturday from someone who knows someone inside the Fremantle camp that the Dockers were pumped and supremely confident about getting the W the next day against Melbourne at TIO Traeger Park in the red heart of the country. I was informed that the Dockers were extremely confident for a number of reasons. They had beaten the Demons on their home territory at the MCG at their last two meetings so they didn’t see beating them at Alice Springs as a problem. They belie

    TROUBLE by The Oracle

Situated roughly in Australia's geographic centre, Alice Springs has for many years been a troubled town suffering from intermittent crime waves, particularly among its younger residents. There was a time a little while ago when things were so bad that some even doubted the annual AFL game in the town would proceed.  Now, the hope is that this Sunday’s Melbourne vs Fremantle encounter will bring joy to the residents of the town and that through the sport and the example of the participants,
