Get better soon Colin, hope you are not too uncomfortable.

Lucky boy....

Lucky he still had time for a selfie!

All the best Colin, get better soon.

Jeezus! There should be a warning with that pic. Just had lunch...

Lucky fellow.

i remember there was a spate of people flying off balconies in the 60's and 70's

Gotta love the patients who won't keep their necks straight despite being warned of irrereversible spinal cord disease.

Herald Sun headline is Ex AFL Star - I get they need to pump up the news - but Col? A star? meh...

Col could have been a real star but simply lacked consistency. Played some brilliant games. Get well soon Col.

These days you have a serious accident and whats your first thought. Share it on social media.

I bet he checked in to the Alfred on his Facebook as well.

Bleeding on the brain, Coln should be fine.

Could have been, would liked to have been,  but maybe didn't want to enough.

Good luck. Lucky escape you the sound of it.

Col is a lovable larrikin. Hope he makes a quick recovery - not a good start to his preseason.

But just wait until he manages a full preseason. This is a novel way to miss out on it.

A salutary lesson in Newtonian physics for Col.

His poor mother must be beside herself.

Are you suggesting the apple doesn't fall far from the tree?

Did the poor lady go over the balcony as well?

I love the hashtag of wakeupcall. Like getting cut from the Dockers the way that he did wasn't a wake up call.

That being said I hope he recovers and realizes that he is 31 now and not 21.

Fractured vertebrae, but still twists his neck to get a better selfie angle.

Lucky he landed on his head. Could have done some serious damage if he landed on another part of his body.

Every player who makes seniors is classed as a star nowadays.

She's so upset she's having an "out-of-body" experience?

  • PREVIEW: Essendon

Not long ago, the narrative surrounding Melbourne was steeped in pessimism. There was some concern among the pundits (and even some fans) that the club would arrive at the AFL’s Gather Round still winless, vulnerable to a familiar adversary in the Essendon Football Club, and facing significant scrutiny from an ever-critical media on a national stage. Things have changed.

  • REPORT: Gold Coast

Steven King astutely identified the issues that had plagued the Melbourne Football Club over the past two and a half seasons when he auditioned for the newly created coaching role. The side that had claimed the 2021 premiership had become stodgy, slow-paced, and hesitant to take the initiative.
