I see Ahern has gone to North for pick 69!

Could be a good deal for North if he can get his knee right.

GWS just need to get rid of cap space- ridiculous situation created by the AFL where high quality players are traded for next to nothing.

Never played a senior game and wont play next year either due to injuries.

Not sure whether I'd regard him as a 'high quality player'.

I always thought the decision on Dawes would be contingent on finding someone to fill the forward/ruck role.

Was thinking more to do with salary cap. Sometimes a like for a like won't always happen.
