If Hogan has checked out he can just go. I can't stand these young pre madonnas. You're a nobody Hogan. You had one good season and your ego is far bigger than your skills set right now.

We are walking on eggshells trying to please him while he's walking around like he's entitled to only put in efforts when he feels like it.

Shithouse attitude!

Have you watched the game and the delivery forward?  I'm starting to think you don't understand football at all.

One team playing for something. One team playing with no purpose and plenty of self preservation. Say what you like but mindset will always be different when you are actually playing for something worthwhile.

Showing how important this game is by starting with no Jones or Vince in the centre square summed it up at the first bounce.

Like us last week?

We are usually the exception, and I mean that in a bad way.

No excuse. Didn't expect to win but putting in no effort is never ever acceptable.

I thought we were past this rubbish!

Geelong: Top 4 team, building into the finals, determined to get the jump on us

Melbourne: Not a Top 4 team.

Game a reflection of where they are and where we are. Getting Hibberd and Melksham will be one thing, but we need mids and more mids.

Is it true Nathan Jones has done a hammy?

He was grabbing at it at the end of the quarter, but not sure if it's just a slight twinge or he is done for the day.

Have you watched him chase or tackle? Me neither.

Why does this team continue to disappoint. Especially, when their appears to be so many guys in the seconds that have more heart than these guys today.

Remember when we beat Hawthorn and we were the best team of all time? Those were the days.

It's all Hogan's fault though, ET.  Everything.  The poor midfield, the easy goals, the ease with which the ball is run from half back to half forward.  All Jesse's fault...

Yeah, sorry Jaded.  It's all his fault.  Everything.  Just blame it on all him and his 'attitude' that you seem to know all about because you're a trained psychologist.  If it makes you feel better then fill your boots.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
