I thought he was excellent today, and in gaining confidence in the Backline( His true Position) should develop into a top line defender! A few errors but very happy with his effort today!

He was. I haven't rated him as highly as most but if he can bring that to the table it'd be a real fillip for the club.

It's a shame that you are not able to recognise the potential of the McDonalds as well!

what can we get for Tom the turnover King

We'd get goals kicked on us 30 seconds earlier than when they normally get kicked on us. Because his intercept markings saves goals until 30 seconds later when its turned over and kicked over his head for a goal. Anyway, This is all confirmation bias. He had one big blatant turnover goal. doesn't mean he did it all day. Were there any more?

He contests pretty well and is very quick.

he is also probably the worst kick in the team and this time next year you will be starting threads calling for him to be traded

We missed his run off half back last week. Can still work on his contested work, but is tracking nicely.

His pace helps the zone because he can sprint back and cover someone and that takes a decision away from the player with the ball (and from his fellow Melbourne players). Purely because of speed he doesn't have to do as much defending which is great.

Certainly a heap to work on and I'm not even convinced he's a lock for a long career but his pace sure is exciting.

In about 25 games Frost will pass the ability of Tmac in respect of that which Tmac dies well. He will do it without the baggage of the traits that Tmac has doing poorly. Neither are true FB and so we still need one butTom is expendable.

Won't be overly palatable to some. So be it.

Frost is possibly a worse kick than T Mac.  He has some real strengths, but lets not pretend he wont be just as frustrating.

What games do you watch ?,Mac OS good at relevantly unpressured  kicks. Id say only 50℅are actually in the direction tbeyought be. Frost is making mistakes but idsuggest is leading the mob in trying to fix them . Tmac still makes dumb dumb mistakes, unforgivable given time in system for mine.

Not just pace but height. When he runs at the player with the ball they have to do lollipop handballs to get it over him.

Wow, making up excuses for Sam but hanging Tom. Tom and Sam are both still young for KPD, with Tom having been in the system a full 12 months longer than Sam.

    FROZEN by Whispering Jack

Who would have thought?    Collingwood had a depleted side with several star players out injured, Max Gawn was in stellar form, Christian Petracca at the top of his game and Simon Goodwin was about to pull off a masterstroke in setting Alex Neal-Bullen onto him to do a fantastic job in subduing the Magpies' best player. Goody had his charges primed to respond robustly to the challenge of turning around their disappointing performance against Fremantle in Alice Springs. And if not that, t

    TURNAROUND by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons won their first game at home this year in the traditional King’s Birthday Weekend clash with Collingwood VFL on Sunday in a dramatic turnaround on recent form that breathed new life into the beleaguered club’s season. The Demons led from the start to record a 52-point victory. It was their highest score and biggest winning margin by far for the 2024 season. Under cloudy but calm conditions for Casey Fields, the home side, wearing the old Springvale guernsey as a mark of res

    BOILED LOLLIES by The Oracle

In the space of a month Melbourne has gone from chocolates to boiled lollies in terms of its standing as a candidate for the AFL premiership.  The club faces its moment of truth against a badly bruised up Collingwood at the MCG. A win will give it some respite but even then, it won’t be regarded particularly well being against an opponent carrying the burden of an injured playing list. A loss would be a disaster. The Demons have gone from a six/two win/loss ratio and a strong percentag

CLEAN HANDS by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons headed into town and up Sydney Road to take on the lowly Coburg Lions who have been perennial VFL easy beats and sitting on one win for the season. Last year, Casey beat them in a practice match when resting their AFL listed players. That’s how bad they were. Nobody respected them on Saturday and clearly not the Demons who came to the game with 22 players (ten MFC), but whether they came out to play is another matter because for the most part, their intensity was lacking an
