Who do we drop for White?

It's a fair question.  Roosy loved Hunt's performance, so I can't see him being 'rested', Jetta is a lock and he won't take a tall backman's spot.. I think.  Possibly Tommy Bugg?  Billy Stretch gets a rest?

I hope it's Bugg if out of those two. I love Billy's speed and Toms hair gives me the shits

Good luck to Grimes as he well and truly deserves his chance. White is an exciting prospect too so happy to see him back!

I am surprised that Oliver is not in, especially as Casey has a bye this week.

They must have decided he needed an extended rest.

Now that we are clearly out of finals contention, it's a good opportunity to have a decent look at a few players who have been consistently amongst the 'bests' for Casey for a while, but may or may not be in our jumper in 2017.  The ball is now in their court to prove their worth.

From the website: "Going out of the side is key forward Christ Dawes and utility Tomas Bugg. Midfielder Viv Michie, second-year player Alex Neal-Bullen and ruckman Jake Spencer have been named emergencies."

Hard to believe he can't play with a name like that!

Happy with those changes.  White and Grimes certainly deserve their opportunity, while Dawes was poor last week and Bugg has been down on form as of late.

I like the fact we are going in a little shorter which I think will suit the conditions a little better as well.

Happy 2 c how Grimes & White go. Hope Grimes plays well & gets a 2nd game. I think Vanders is lucky 2 b in team. Wonder if M Jones can get more than 118m with his 20 posses this week if not swap him for Trenners.

The holes in his hands is probably why he can't mark anything

That's what I call him, although there's usually a comma in between the names.

    FROZEN by Whispering Jack

Who would have thought?    Collingwood had a depleted side with several star players out injured, Max Gawn was in stellar form, Christian Petracca at the top of his game and Simon Goodwin was about to pull off a masterstroke in setting Alex Neal-Bullen onto him to do a fantastic job in subduing the Magpies' best player. Goody had his charges primed to respond robustly to the challenge of turning around their disappointing performance against Fremantle in Alice Springs. And if not that, t

Under cloudy but calm conditions for Casey Fields, the home side, wearing the old Springvale guernsey as a mark of res

    BOILED LOLLIES by The Oracle

In the space of a month Melbourne has gone from chocolates to boiled lollies in terms of its standing as a candidate for the AFL premiership.  The club faces its moment of truth against a badly bruised up Collingwood at the MCG. A win will give it some respite but even then, it won’t be regarded particularly well being against an opponent carrying the burden of an injured playing list. A loss would be a disaster. The Demons have gone from a six/two win/loss ratio and a strong percentag

CLEAN HANDS by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons headed into town and up Sydney Road to take on the lowly Coburg Lions who have been perennial VFL easy beats and sitting on one win for the season. Last year, Casey beat them in a practice match when resting their AFL listed players. That’s how bad they were. Nobody respected them on Saturday and clearly not the Demons who came to the game with 22 players (ten MFC), but whether they came out to play is another matter because for the most part, their intensity was lacking an
