I'll move things forward....

Leppa should be getting onto Seek.com during the week, and updating his LinkedIn profile. 2017 will be full of 'different' opportunities for him.
The Bears look bloody uninterested against a Freo team with a makeshift forward line.

They kicked the first 3 goals. Since then it's been 128 - 30. Thats ugly against the 17th team on the ladder.

Once Leppa goes I would not be surprised if they put in a Carlton like improvement next season.

I don't know. Rockcliff reminds me of N. Jones circa 2012-13. He tries but the gap between him and there bottom 7-8 each week is MASSIVE.
It's a long way back for any team whose second most honest contributor is Mitch Robinson.

Gotta hand it to the Dogs, a young team with a decimated backline and they sit at 9-3 in the top 4.

Whose home game is it out of Geelong and Kangaroos?

I notice Geelong are named first but it's at Etihad and Geelong are wearing white shorts.

I would dearly love to see them win the flag, but doubt it will happen.

The rest of the top 4 makes me wanna vomit!

Indeed PA. I reckon their story is what we should aspire to; all the parallels are there.

While not wanting to appear superstitious, I would too, because every time without fail that they have done so we have dominated for the following decade.

Two things about commentary last night

  • Dennis Cometti saying he felt SORRY for Essendon, because they are in this situation by circumstance and its tough playing every week. Sorry, but is he serious?
  • Jamar was laughable. But he didn't deserve to be laughed at by commentators. Just totally unprofessional.

Dennis lost me  with this. Missed by far more than a cm !!

On the Dogs I was thinking today that if they are paying Boyd a ton of cash then surely some of their gun youngsters who are much better may want a bit more cash in future. You would think they will have a bit of salary cap pressure and may be vulnerable to have some of them pried. Macrae, Libba, Hunter, Wallis, Daniel, Johanissen to name a few. How will they pay all these guys enough while also paying Boyd close to a mill a year?

Have you seen the price of juice along the Nullabor??

can't say I have Steve but given your keen interest in muscle you could always give NOS a go. Might be cheaper out that way!

I seriously cannot recall when I last saw a game with the atrocious skill levels on display currently in the Saints v Carlton game.

    TRAINING: Wednesday 12th February 2025

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the scorching morning heat to bring you the following observations of Wednesday's preseason training session from Gosch's Paddock. HARVEY WALLBANGER'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Absent: Salem, Windsor (word is a foot rash going around), Viney, Bowey and Kentfield Train ons: Roy George, no Culley today. MATCH SIM: Friday 7th February 2025

Demonland Trackwatcher Gator ventured down the freeway to bring you his observations from Friday morning's Match Simulation out at Casey Fields. Rehab: Jake Lever and Charlie Spargo running laps.  Lever was running short distances at a fast click as well as having kick to kick with a trainer. He seems unimpeded. Christian Petracca, Kade Chandler, Shane McAdam and Tom Fullarton doing non-contact kicking and handball drills on the adjacent oval.  All moving freely at pace.  I didn’

Demonland Trackwatchers were out in force as the Demons returned to Gosch's Paddock for preseason training on Wednesday morning. GHOSTWRITER'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Kozzie a no show. Tommy Sparrow was here last week in civvies and wearing sunnies. He didn’t train. Today he’s training but he’s wearing goggles so he’s likely got an eye injury. There’s a drill where Selwyn literally lies on top of Tracc, a trainer dribbles the ball towards them and Tracc has to g

THAT WAS THE YEAR THAT WAS: 2024

Whichever way you look at it, the Melbourne Football Club’s 2024 season can only be characterized as the year of its fall from grace. Whispering Jack looks back at the season from hell that was. After its 2021 benchmark premiership triumph, the men’s team still managed top four finishes in the next two seasons but straight sets finals losses consigned them to sixth place in both years. The big fall came in 2024 with a collapse into the bottom six and a 14th placing. At Casey, the 2022 VFL p
