Hard to fault individuals as the team tackling pressure was weak.

I think Kent will be dropped ,as will Omac.

Dirty day And nothing went right for us.

The diamond was brilliant once again.

In bball you change your zone or  press or man on man defenses in an instant- more difficult on a large oval but this zone is all or nothing.  Do they expect to win contested ball every week?  Not going to happen need a defense that allows defenders to defend . It's embarrassing again .

We don't like it when the opposition come to play.

Oliver and Brayshaw would make a difference. Easily our 2 best mids. More games into Petracca.

Trengove makes good decisions and we might see him soon enough.

But yep we still have more than a few placeholders on our list.

If he isnt, there is a severe problem. Worst game he has ever played. Cost us countless goals off his own boot.

Far too much talk about us making the 8.  Too many inconsistent passengers for that to be a remote possibility.

we should worry about staying outside bottom 4

Hogan would be an elite if he could kick straight but his kicking is close to atrocious.

I felt like half our players didn't even try today. I think us supporters should feel let down. We know we wont make finals now.

Well done Max. Watts needs to be more consistent as does garlett. Kennedy and tyson absolute shockers. Not a few young players looked out of place.

I hope MFC pack in the NT games....we never win them its almost as bad as ETHIAD

Its official ten years without a finals berth

I reckon he should. Been a while since he's played a real good one.

Won't drop kent before kennedy, kennedy was nowhere near it.

ANB disappointing, when we needed help on the inside he didn't impact.

We need another tall up forward, had no one to compete with westoff. He smashed us. Dawes must come in.

Coaches need to look at their structures, they might score better but it just doesn't work going the other way.

Tom Mc Donald take note!!

His main job is to defend! I don't care how many times he looks flashy running down the ground! his Direct opponent for most of the game Charlie Dixon kicked 5 IN A MATCH WINNING PERFORMANCE! Trade!!

Ronald Mc Donald would be a better bet!!

Worst we've played all year - including the Essendon game. I hope the club ceases this sponsorship deal with NT tourism. Giving up certain home game wins (Port have a terrible record against us at the MCG) will never get us far up the ladder.

Special mention to:

Kent - Selfish goal hog who can only kick on one side

Tyson - Didn't even make the plane trip

O.Mac - Has no actual AFL skills and has no balance

Harmes - Needs to go back to VFL - only survives via some cameos

Kennedy - got stuck in the terminal like Tyson

2024 Player Reviews: #36 Kysaiah Pickett

The Demons’ aggressive small forward who kicks goals and defends the Demons’ ball in the forward arc. When he’s on song, he’s unstoppable but he did blot his copybook with a three week suspension in the final round. 2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May

The years are rolling by but May continued to be rock solid in a key defensive position despite some injury concerns. He showed great resilience in coming back from a nasty rib injury and is expected to continue in that role for another couple of seasons. It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield. There could be more of that in 2025.
