I like to spread my animosity widely. However, I have decided I currently hate two things above all else. Brad Scott and Chris Scott. For that reason I'm praying for an upset at the G today.

With all the stupid markets betting agencies offer on each game, why don't they offer a price on free kick counts? Would it be too easy to pick?

Bookies would be wiped out after the first Weagles match.

Totally understandable. I'm hoping for a scrappy sh!tty game that neither side can take anything positive from.

Watching the Cats game right now, I don't feel so bad about our game against the Bombers as I did at 1 o'clock this afternoon.

Amazing, you take one guy out of the coaches' box and suddenly Essendon are much easier to cheer for.

To be fair, I'm not so much cheering for Essendrug but hoping for the demise of that sanctimonious fcuk

By my count, Geelong have kicked 1.14 in their last 15 scoring shots.....

To me, a team that kicks like that deserves to lose.

Don't disagree! But unfortunately it doesn't look like they will. Have kicked two majors since.....

Geelong's had 16 scoring shots in the second half (4.12) to Essendon's 2 (1.1).

If Geelong had lost they would have had no one to blame but themselves, but they've won because they deserve to win.

Nonetheless, it shows Essendon is going to push some sides this year (other than us). On current form, Brisbane would have to be worried about picking up the spoon this year.

Have St Kilda gone past us?

level against the premiers at 3qtr time.

I'm pretty sure they were past us last year. Not by much but their ageing stars help them. We don't have that.

My hatred of umpires gifting Hawthorn with Free kicks is inflamed by Fox commentators agreeing with them.

Now I only watched the last qtr but dare I say the Saints were robbed?? 2 uncalled 15m marks in a row and then that one that hawthorn took the advantage and were given it back!

Hard to beat Hawthorn when they have the umps on their side.

Saints are on the way up. Great drafting, kept experience around to ease the youngsters in. Saints and Dogs setting standards on how to rebuild after falling. That was a great tussle.

Damm Hawks! I picked St Kilda in my footy tipping and nearly pulled off an upset! We better show the Saints the same respect we gave the Roos (c.f. the lack of respect we showed the Bombers)!

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

    TRAINING: Monday 16th December 2024

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session.
