Very tall already! Hopefully another Dees fan who gets to live the dream.

Max is 208 cm so Kalani looks about to be already 200 cm plus hair. If he can jump and play anything like dad he will be special.

He has had a pretty good coach growing up.

If he is half as good as his dad then he will be a gem in future.

Jeff should be up there as one of the AFL'S best ruckman.

Future teammates

There’s a nice WA connection between the lads in those pictures. Kalani’s dad Jeff, played three seasons with the Fremantle Dockers in their formative years in the AFL. Kozzie was born and bred there but went with his family to SA and was recruited from there and JvR was drafted from Claremont Colts in the WAFL. Hopefully, they will all be teammates terrorizing opponents in the red and blue on the MCG in the near future.

What year can Kalani be drafted?

He turns 18 in 2025 so that will be his draft year.

If he definitely wants to commit to the Demons, it would be interesting if he came to Melbourne earlier and played with one of the Under 18 teams like the Ashcroft brothers have done with the Sandringham Dragons.

Absolutely love those photos.

All very well having the name and the height, but hopefully he can also play. Are there any reports on his ability?

He can play.

We might have 3 F/S over the next 3 years, with Kynan Brown this year, Noah Yze next year and then Kalani White in 2025.

For anyone attending our Gold Coast match (round 8, Saturday the 6th of May), on the following day Kalani will be playing for the Gold Coast Academy vs Sydney Academy.

Kalani told Duxy (Demon Army Royalty and all-round nice guy) that he would “love if there were Dees fans there to support (him)” which there will be since the DA members who’ll still be there on the Sunday will be attending his match. Attendance by any and all Dees supporters would be great!

He’ll be 9ft by then

Kynan has a younger brother coming through by the name of Jake who would be around 16 years of age. Another to watch put for in a couple of years.

Marley Davey has just turned 13 this year so expect his name to start coming up over the next few years. My understanding is that he's a very handy young footballer up in Cairns that'll start integrating into junior development squads.

  • AFLW REPORT: Western Bulldogs

We’re back! That was fun. The Mighty Dees’ Season 10 campaign is off toa flying start with a commanding 48-point winover the Western Bulldogs, retaining the Hampson-Hardeman Cup in style. • REPORT: Hawthorn

The final score in Saturday's game against Hawthorn was almost identical to that from their last contest three months ago. Melbourne suffered comprehensive defeats in both games, but the similarities ended there. When they met in Round 9, the Demons were resurgent, seeking to redeem themselves after a lacklustre start to the season. They approached the game with vigour and dynamism, and were highly competitive for the first three quarters, during which they were at least on par with the Hawks. In the final term, they lapsed into error and were ultimately overrun, but the final result did not accurately reflect their effort and commitment throughout the match.

  • CASEY: Box Hill

The Casey Demons ended the regular season on a positive note and gained substantial momentum leading into the finals when they knocked the Box Hill Hawks off the top of the VFL ladder in their final round clash at Casey Fields. More importantly, they moved out of a wild card position in the finals race and secured a week's rest as they leapfrogged up the ladder into fifth place with their decisive 23-point victory over the team that had been the dominant force in the competition for most of the season.
