Sorry if this has been posted already, but check out the little piece from MelbourneTV with Robbo and Trenners.

Just so hard not to love Trenners. What a great young bloke he appears to be and an inspiring person. Really looking forward to his AFL return.

what a legend!

Haven't updated my favourite players list since the Dean Bailey years, but still got a massive soft spot for #9!

Please refer to the proposed amendment to the DL code of conduct:

'Any party who posts rumours on Demonland pertaining to issues such as, but not limited to: the recruitment of players to the MFC, unrest within the playing ranks, appointment of coaches, retirement of CEOs, potential new sponsors, drug charges or the selection of much loved players who have battled injury shall face disciplinary action if they do not also note the source of said information. The source need not be explicitly named however an general indication of who has passed on said information is required so Demonland members and casual readers can develop a view of the veracity of the rumour'.

Source?

If true this will give our team a HUGE boost! Not only do we get quality person into our side but someone that's got real leadership, class and experience. You can never have enough of them in our young side.

Please be true.

Spoke to Macca at training yesterday and he said Trenners had put his hand up to play but he wasn't sure when it would be, but he's officially in the selection mix.

Not saying you're wrong champ, just giving it some context before you give some of the old blokes here a heart attack...

So, is it just a whim or did you actually hear something? Pretty big difference.

I'm told he has put his hand up this for the first time this week.... in 2 years.

Pretty big news, but I am not to know what happens at selection.

Whether it be this week, next, or the week after, you better have the defibrillator handy.

Right, so you didn't actually hear he will return this week then.... Got it.

Well... while not what I initially thought, it's still huge news in itself that he's put his hand up for selection.

Let's not overlook that great news!

    REDLEG PRIDE by Meggs

Hump day mid-week footy at the Redlegs home ground is a great opportunity to build on our recent improved competitiveness playing in the red and blue.   The jumper has a few other colours this week with the rainbow Pride flag flying this round to celebrate people from all walks of life coming together, being accepted. AFLW has been a benchmark when it comes to inclusivity and a safe workplace.  The team will run out in a specially designed guernsey for this game and also the following week

    REDEEMING by Meggs

It was such a balmy spring evening for this mid-week BNCA Pink Lady match at our favourite venue Ikon Park between two teams that had not won a game since round one.   After last week’s insipid bombing, the DeeArmy banner correctly deemanded that our players ‘go in hard, go in strong, go in fighting’, and girl they sure did!   The first quarter goals by Alyssa Bannan and Alyssia Pisano were simply stunning, and it was 4 goals to nil by half-time.   Kudos to Mick Stinear.

    REDEEM by Meggs

How will Mick Stinear and his dwindling list of fit and available Demons respond to last week’s 65-point capitulation to the Bombers, the team’s biggest loss in history?   As a minimum he will expect genuine effort from all of his players when Melbourne takes on the GWS Giants at Ikon Park this Thursday.  Happily, the ground remains a favourite Melbourne venue of players and spectators alike and will provide an opportunity for the Demons to redeem themselves. Injuries to star play

    EASYBEATS by Meggs

A beautiful sunny Friday afternoon, with a light breeze and a strong Windy Hill crowd set the scene, inviting one team to seize the day and take the important four points on offer. For the Demons it was not a good Friday, easily beaten by an all-time largest losing margin of 65 points.   Essendon threw themselves into action today, winning most of the contests and had three early goals with Daria Bannister on fire.  In contrast the Demons were dropping marks, hesitant in close and comm
