Ok, so we have improved, that is no longer in question. But that being the case, surely it makes these absolute capitulations even more inexcusable.

If I hear one thing about the scarred past this week I will vommit.

All against a side with no more exerience than us. There most experienced player plays for us for christs sake.

Didn't take long for Chris Dawes to rediscover his woeful ordinary standards.

We're essentially two men down at the centre taps because Gawn taps to the advantage of the opposition 9 times out of 10 and if the ball somehow ends up in dispute, he doesn't provide a decent enough 2nd effort. I'd put Howe in the ruck.

No opposition too easily allowed to take front position

At first I was really disappointed at this unexpected lack of any way to counter a fast-running Dogs side…but then I remembered what happened to us when we came up against GWS and they finally got their running game going.

The Bulldogs are a hell of a lot better than GWS.

haha omg

More instability, just what the club needs!

it became very clear in that half that there is absolutely no point whatsoever playing Rohan Bail, the guy will not be offered a new contract so what is there to be gained by him playing any more in the seniors. Would rather see Stretch or JKH play.

Just this week Roos said that players wouldn't be gifted games.

I'd say any game to Rohan Bail is a gift.

Can everyone bloody relax? I understand the performance has been woeful but to start saying we haven't improved, sack Roos, our team's going nowhere, same old melbourne is absolute RUBBISH.

We beat the bulldogs earlier on in the year. We have improved on last year and when you put it into perspective the doggies are playing unbelievable footy, flogged plenty of teams this year and are fighting for a top four spot. At this stage in the season as dissapointing as it is, as a professional athlete knowing your effort isn't going to be rewarded with finals footy clearly puts back the mindset to win.

Everyone stop whinging and start looking forward to another big pre-season and a big 2016.

Agreed. I'd take Pig Dog over Bail any day of the week. Bail has well and truly had his card marked after that half of footy.

In the dictionary under Bail it says "n. a deer in the headlights, that lacks a left foot"

lets just win the second half

Jeremy Howe doing his utmost to reduce his trade value for us as well. Soft coke

I like what we're doing, leading them in to a false sense of security....then boom. Unleash.

Like St Kilda did to them.

Oh ffs.

The Bullies are playing for a top four spot and want to keep building their percentage to stay ahead of Sydney. We are a bottom six side with little but pride to gain.

MJones and Bail are playing.

What other result could anyone envisage.

Bail's only advantage over Riley is speed. I think if we were playing a slower team, it would have been different.

Well, I know its a lot to ask, but actually turning up to play a game of football might be nice yeah?

We wait for next year every year. Let's just save ourselves the trouble and start preparing for 2017 now. This is pathetic. I agree we have improved under Roos, but as I said, surely it makes these record breaking capitulations even more inexcusable doesn't it?

    TRAINING: Monday 20th January 2025

Demonland Trackwatcher Gator attended training out at Casey Fields to bring you the following observations from Preseason Training. GATOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS There were 5 in the main rehab group, namely Gawn, Petracca, Fullarton, Woewodin and Lever.  Laurie was running laps by himself, as was Jefferson.  Chandler, as has been reported, had his arm in a sling.  Lindsay did a bit of lap running later on. Some of the ''rehab 5'' participated in non contact drills and b

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan. Lever was also on restricted duties and appeared to be in runners.  The main group was doing end-to-end transition work in a simulated match situation. Ball mov
