I have just rang Foxtel to make a complaint about Ed commentating on the replays.

Got a charming young lad who sympathised with my plight.

Was told to Email Feedback@fox sport.com.au and all feedback will be replied to or

go to their facebook page....Foxsport/aus.....If many people complain...they will change it.

I to wanted to keep this taped game but will be ditching it if this afternoons replay is still the Eddie version

I will email them now.

I wish there was a button where you could see Ed's head explode....

it is so self indulgent of the foxtel programming dept

Sorry - I don't remember the 1990's very well - what's a fax machine? :)

I will be racing home from work to hit record.

If you have a smartphone download the Foxtel Guide app - you can hit record from wherever you are as long as you and the foxtel box are connected to the internet

They listened to us!! They have ditched Ed, 5 o'clock replay is now just the normal woeful commentary team

Yoo Hoo we did it ! Stuff Eddie and stuff Collingwood !

I only changed to Ed during the game every now and again.

It was ridiculously childish, whining about the umpiring and the booing when we were kicking for goal.

I felt embarrassed for them.

I would have thought Ed himself would have pulled it. Surely he is embarrassed by that performance.

Daicos was O.k and at least tried to be rational. left Melbourne alone and just talked about Collingwood.

Tony Shaw should never see the inside of a commentary box again. He was boring, ranting, objectionable and by my count (I didn't really) thought the free kick count should have been 68 to 0. He was terrible

Peter Hellier hadn't done any homework for the job and thought he might get by with his casual wit, and clearly didn't. Had one joke repeated 7 times about the "Straunie" pocket.

I watched the last quarter and a half of the Press Red replay on Foxtel yesterday and loved it. It was gold when all they could do each time we had a shot for goal was go 'miss...miss'.

I did also watch the full replay with the normal commentary on AFL TV last night. There's a lot of love for Jesse, Maxy and Angus Brayshaw from the commentators. Vanders gets the big tick too.

The best part about the miss miss miss thing was that it worked 3 or 4 times, then the captain steps up and goes boom! and shows them how it's done. Sorry fellas, it's not Cotchin, Jones doesn't miss those.

Make that the normal woeful commentary team plus Huddo.

EDIT: For me it was always a non-issue, since I record all our games and then delete them after we’ve lost. This week there was no need though, since we won.

Even Huddo sounds brilliant. I have done the Eddie thing which ranges from tedious to occasionally funny to mostly crappy. The normal commentary is a breath of fresh air. Congrats to those who heavied Fox.

Replaying the Melbourne vs Collingwood game in the lead to Roos vs Buckley on 360 is a good move. I don’t usually watch these Monday night shows, but I might do the rounds this week. I’m prepared for a lot of Richmond coverage though….

So funny little thing for them to set up, but not impressed that their first replay available after the match had "red for ed" commentary. Have it during the match, and then advertise the replay for the week but all other replays should've had the proper commentary.

The reason why I'm not happy about it is that it was the replay I've recorded to watch. Ah well, winners are grinners and Eddie can please himself!

    TRAINING: Monday 20th January 2025

Demonland Trackwatcher Gator attended training out at Casey Fields to bring you the following observations from Preseason Training. GATOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS There were 5 in the main rehab group, namely Gawn, Petracca, Fullarton, Woewodin and Lever.  Laurie was running laps by himself, as was Jefferson.  Chandler, as has been reported, had his arm in a sling.  Lindsay did a bit of lap running later on. Some of the ''rehab 5'' participated in non contact drills and b

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan. Lever was also on restricted duties and appeared to be in runners.  The main group was doing end-to-end transition work in a simulated match situation. Ball mov
