Good work. Always tough to do this week in week out. Vanders was going a lot of enforcing before he was subbed out. Though McDonald picked up once he got off Cloke and worked his way back in - good learning game from him.

Agree that Garlett needs to be in the game for more than 2 minutes.

I'm not sure what sort of statement Lamumba made.

Crazy Horse Lumumba in the first half, unbelievable stuff early. Redeemed himself in the second half somewhat.

I generally look forward to the 3 word descriptions, but this one is just too much. To described jack watts as a "bipolar performances" is absurd, apart from being hugely insulting about this very unfortunate condition. The Regs should censor this immediately

One of my relatives is bipolar, and I can tell you Jack Watts is so far away from bipolar that it is not funny. If this poster is determined to insult our number one draft pick, thereby ensuring he leave, then it may give him varcarious pleasure, but it makes this demon suppiorter extremely angry. All it will do is ensure he leaves. God we shoot ourselves in the foot sometimes.

It's just a word, mate.

The earth is bipolar.

that was not what you meant.

If it was, your three word summary was that Watts has a head and feet. Well, come to think of it...

I like this list better; although I thought Fitzy will keep his place because his man did nothing. Dunn was OK on Cloke, considering one of his three goals was from a very poor decision. Totally agree that Toumpas is coming along slowly.

The loss to the pies was honourable one, consider they won a premiership in 1990 ( a Roos type comparison everytime we lose).Next year should be good (6-8 wins) Frost,Salem,Petracca,Neal-Bulleen,Kent,M.White,Vanderberg,Stretch all available should improve our

stocks, plus No.3 or 4 draft pick.Who does the club get rid of? The Dees in the past have got rid of players only to be replaced by the same sort of players,we must try harder to get the fringe players up to scratch otherwise we will end up with a relatively inexperience

reserves side and we all know what effect that has on the club in time of senior players getting injured.

Why not 6-8 wins this year? We already have three, have played most of the top of the ladder, have most of the rest of our games against those in the lower half of the ladder. Do you really think we cant get three more wins this year?

I would be disappointed if we didn't beat StKilda at least once (we should win twice), and we should beat Carlton and Brisbane. There is three or four right there.

    DELUGE by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons overcame their inaccuracy and the wet inhospitable conditions to overrun the lowly Northern Bullants at Genis Steel Oval in Cramer Street, Preston on Saturday. It was an eerie feeling entering the ground that in the past hosted many VFA/VFL greats of the past including the legendary Roy Cazaly. The cold and drizzly rain and the sparse crowd were enough to make one want to escape to the nearby Preston Market and hang out there for the afternoon. In the event, the fans

    INSANITY by Whispering Jack

Somehow, the Melbourne Football Club managed it twice in the course of a week. Coach Simon Goodwin admitted it in his press conference after the loss against the Brisbane Lions in a game where his team held a four goal lead in the third term:   "In reality we went a bit safe. Big occasion, a lot of young players playing. We probably just went into our shell a bit. "There's a bit to unpack in that last quarter … whether we go into our shells a bit late in the game."   Well

    UNBACKABLE by The Oracle

They’re billing the Brisbane Lions as a sleeping giant — the best team outside the top eight —and based on their form this month they’re a definite contender for September AFL action. Which is not exactly the best of news if you happen to be Melbourne, the visiting team this week up at the Gabba.  Even though they are placed ahead of their opponent on the AFL table, and they managed to stave off defeat in their last round victory over North Melbourne, this week’s visitors to the Sunshi

    WILDCARDS by KC from Casey

Casey’s season continued to drift into helplessness on Sunday when they lost another home game by a narrow margin, this time six points, in their Round 13 clash with North Melbourne’s VFL combination. The game was in stunning contrast to their last meeting at the same venue when Casey won the VFL Wildcard Match by 101 points. Back then, their standout players were Brodie Grundy and James Jordon who are starring in the AFL with ladder leaders, the Sydney Swans (it turned out to be their last
