Paul Roos footy is boring as [censored]

How the hell dos he expect to attract members with this [censored]. I wonder if he takes input from Goodwin and McCartneyy or if he thinks hes too perfect with his pathetic 'lets kick no goals every week' game plan

Roos doesn't go out and tell the players to play kick to kick.

At some stage, MFC fans will have to start thinking about our list - not the coaches.

Tyson, Lumumba, Dunn, Howe, Garland.

This is why we are no good. Our better players once again disappearing. They're all senior players (bar Tyson) and we simply don't have the list to compete when they're not in it.

People bagging Dawes have no idea what's going on out there. He is one of the few senior players chasing, harrassing and leading. The problem is the ineptitude we display off half back and through the middle.

roos, not listening to his crap about having improved so much.the only difference between him and denis jones as coach is he not holding a large bottle of carlton draught

Tacking is pathetic. Local footy standard.

My thought's exactly.

If we could "stick some tackles" we might stay in games longer.

Michie dont like to hurt opposition in the tackle.

It's the first thing we learn as a kid, tackle to hurt em and dont let em forget it.

Only moderately frustrated; this is really just an extension of the past two weeks. Yeah, yeah, we know we can't match the best sides yet. We don't need to be reminded three weeks in a row.

Here's to the end of this horrible run and Viney and Hogan back next week.

Love the way Vanders is throwing himself at the contest in our fwd50.

Really working hard.

He is a good footballer. Underrated.

I like the way he can push forward and become a target.

Whoever drafted Vandenberg, take a bow.

Get fair dinkum Viv has played 10 games and has been given the job on Mitchell. Jones or Bernie should be on him. Stupid match up.

if you are picked to play then do your job

it was terrible fixturing by the AFL. I bet no other team plays Sydney-Freo-Hawks in consecutive weeks this season

I'm incredibly jealous of the Hawthorn supporters around us who spend all their time complaining about Matt Suckling.

You are envious, not jealous.

Just trying to help.

Ridiculous comment. Is Roos out there on the field playing like a pee-heart?

Alastair Clarkson couldn't do [censored] with this pathetic list. Don't forget just what Paul Roos inherited 2 years ago and how much he's trying to turn it over every chance he gets (sadly only once a year).

as soon as they get it on the outside they look untouchable.

too many ins/outs, lower team chemistry

Jones, T-Mac and Garland our best three this far

Toumpas was always a neat short kick, now he has gone even further into his shell and is trying these little dinks and butchering them.

His awareness of where he is in a contested situation is awful at the moment, he either rushes it to hand or foot, or gets caught far too often.

dont make excuses for this bunch of shirt lifters.(not there is anything wrong with that)

I heard a rumour disciplinary reasons .

Hmmm.

I haven't done anything wrong to be disciplined by having to watch Spencer though! :(

Well. you would have to think that we will be able to run the 2nd half out. The hawks have run hard all game. And we have barely bothered.

They must tire... and then we will strike! Right? Rope-a-dope?

The Hawks haven't even run that hard. They've just sat back waiting for the turnover while we kick it sideways to each other and then stream forward while our guys jog along not a care in the world.

Demonland Trackwatcher Gator attended training out at Casey Fields to bring you the following observations from Preseason Training. GATOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS There were 5 in the main rehab group, namely Gawn, Petracca, Fullarton, Woewodin and Lever.  Laurie was running laps by himself, as was Jefferson.  Chandler, as has been reported, had his arm in a sling.  Lindsay did a bit of lap running later on. Some of the ''rehab 5'' participated in non contact drills and b

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan. Lever was also on restricted duties and appeared to be in runners.  The main group was doing end-to-end transition work in a simulated match situation. Ball mov
