We do not take these issues & this decision lightly & of course we believe that these serious matters affecting the club we love & are so passionate about are worthy of discussion & debate & I wish we could provide a place where these matters can be discussed in a civil & respectful manner.

However these discussions unfortunately invariably devolve into areas that may be defamatory, libelous, spread unsubstantiated rumours & can effect the mental health of those involved. Even discussion & debate of known facts or media reports can lead to finger pointing, blame & personal attacks.

Loved Bernie's mongrel today and the fact that he just isn't an ex Crow looking to get out a few more years at another club while pining for his old one. As he said in the interview 'I'm a Melbourne player now and if they boo me here, who cares?'

Just watching North vs port and wow Goldstein is exactly what a ruckman should be. His follow up tackles and lots of possessions etc.. Unfortunantly jamar is the best tap ruckman we have and the others don't get enough of it around the ground to justify their inclusion :(.

We had one of those types of ruckman, but Neeld got rid of him...

hey i saw Vince punch someone in the face during the brawl. I hope he doesn't miss....

Open hand, was going to push him on the chest, or grab his jumper on the front. His hand appeared goalie up and clip his chin. Nothing in it.

Jackie boy unfortunately is not a footballer

he's got a brain, but unfortunately he seems satisfied with just having that one dimension, when in reality its a full contact 360 degree sport which requires vision, courage & passion to perform under physical pressure, and as '86' says, "Loving It".

better he goes, & tries again elsewhere.

Red if you think Hogan's set shot action is ok and can be addressed later you should be following Hawthorn. They can wait, we need goals, now.

I watched Hogan all through his year at Casey he rarely missed from set shots with that action. Just because he missed a goal and has a weird action the immediate response from people is to change his action.

Check out the Crows coach having a cry about Bernie Vince destroying Dangerflied

http://www.afl.com.au/news/2015-04-18/thats-not-toughness

Have a sook you [censored

I listened to the interview. I heard little resemblance between Walsh's words and his intent and the text provided by the reporter regarding Vince and Dangerfield, there was no whinging, (or crying), about Vince's tactics.

Really poor article where the journalist has put his own spin on the comment.

Did anyone see Kent absolutely ragdoll Jake Kelly during the scuffle?

This is what the club's been lacking since the Northey years.

Bring on more of the fight both for the ball and defending the club and fellow players in a mellee.

Anyone calling for Kent's head after today needs a brain transplant. Haven't seen a Demon player ragdoll anyone since Jakovich

I love Brayshaw. I love his genuine class and preparedness to put his head over the ball. And he makes good decisions under pressure.

To think that so-called knowledgeable supporters wanted him at Casey. I still shake my head in disbelief.

He makes us better.

You might be right red, if he turns out as good as Buddy, I don't care how oddly he kicks it. The speed and pace of Casey would make set shots considerably easier than at AFL level, I suspect. He would be blowing harder lining up for a goal now, which is where technique comes into play more. My point was not made because he missed one goal, more because his set shot technique is flawed. We shall see in time, of course.

He decides to drop Toumpas after one game for a fumble in the goal square

I dont necesaarily disagree with you though Dawes is not going anywhere now that Frost is injured. But Toumpas was not dropped just for a fumble in the goalsquare. I'm a Toumpas supporter but he made several mistakes and really looked out of his depth, that's why he was dropped.

Agreed,I don't really feel bad after today's loss.Seeing the Demons showing some balls and fighting it out to the end kind of felt like a victory.Kent should go into pro wrestling after he retires from footy.

If only he could consistently kick a bag like Jako used to...

Credit to the coaches: quite a turn-around in effort this week, and for (almost) 4 quarters as well.

The first 5 minutes of the 3rd quarter was going to the usual script but nice to see the players fight back. The last part of the first quarter after Watts dropped those marks was a bit of a worry too.Besides that and the missed opportunities it wasn't that bad today as compared to last week.

well I flicked it on the radio when I heard we were 3 goals to 0. Then all I heard was JKH get run down twice watts dropped his head in a contest and cost us a goal and Hogan kept missing. I eventually saw the 2nd half. Hogan I know its only his 3rd game but he should be kicking those goals. We need to sort out that kicking out. We dont want a levi casboult on our hands. Someone who is a beautiful mark but cannot kick straight.

anyway next week we are back on the G. If we kicked straighter today it may have been a different result.

Id start Brayshaw on the ground next week. The kid is a tackling machine. Just gets in there.

a lot of positives out of today, the first quarter other than the last minute was fantastic to watch, the second was also not too bad. This is the sort of football we all want to see. I think we are all being a bit hard on some of the players they all made mistakes throughout the game, but at least they all looked like the tried. Dawes is constantly double teamed, and delivery is often not the best, I thought from what I have seen so far his chasing and tackling were good. Watts dropped some but then so did the opposition, Sloane did a notice miss that resulted in one of our second quarter goals. I loved our attack on Dangerfield, it was a bit Ablettish and was great to see.

we are building a team for the future and I think things are looking a lot better, Adelaide is tough in Adelaide the umps are obviously swayed by the home crowd which meant they got a few extra frees and we missed on some. Our kicking let us down not only for goal but some of our kicking around the game where we kicked it directly to the opposition or out of bounds when not under a lot of pressure. At least this year we are seeing forward 50 entries and scores, even if they are not all goals its an improvement. The team still has a lot of new players getting used to our style and understanding their team mates. all in all not a bad performance.

I loved Bernie's game and have massive respect for him now.

What the stupid Crows supporters didnt understand is the booing was making him go in harder.

He's cocky, and I love it.

    DISCO INFERNO by Whispering Jack

Two weeks ago, when the curtain came down on Melbourne’s game against the Brisbane Lions, the team trudged off the MCG looking tired and despondent at the end of a tough run of games played in quick succession. In the days that followed, the fans wanted answers about their team’s lamentable performance that night and foremost among their concerns was whether the loss was a one off result of fatigue or was it due to other factor(s) of far greater consequence.  As it turns out, the answer to

TIGERS PUNT CASEY by KC from Casey

The afternoon atmosphere at the Swinburne Centre was somewhat surreal as the game between Richmond VFL and the Casey Demons unfolded on what was really a normal work day for most Melburnians. The Yarra Park precinct marched to the rhythm of city life, the trains rolled by, pedestrians walked by with their dogs and the traffic on Punt Road and Brunton Avenue swirled past while inside the arena, a football battle ensued. And what a battle it was? The Tigers came in with a record of two wins f

It's Game Day and the Demons once again open the round of football with their annual clash against Richmond on ANZAC Eve. The Tigers, coached by former Dees champion and Premiership assistant coach Adem Yze have a plethora of stars missing due to injury but beware the wounded Tiger. The Dees will have to be switched on tonight. A win will keep them in the hunt for the Top 4 whilst a loss could see them fall out of the 8 for the first time since 2020.

There’s a touch of irony in the fact that Adem Yze played his first game for Melbourne in Round 13, 1995 against the club he now coaches. For that game, he wore the number 44 guernsey and got six touches in a game the team won by 11 points.  The man whose first name was often misspelled, soon changed to the number 13 and it turned out lucky for him. He became a highly revered Demon with a record of 271 games during which his presence was acknowledged by the fans with the chant of “Oozee” wh
